Hey all UK stinger GT 3.3 for the 2nd time here just bought a 2021 facelift model and got straight on with a de-chrome (still need to do the front grill surrounds) and fitting a small spoiler.

Nice. Interesting, "facelift" with the traditional KIA badges still? I remember the refresh/facelift including the new logo, with the "backwards" N.

It’s definitely the “facelift” model I questioned this before buying it but it has the larger interior screen, new headlights and interior. Kia dealership told me it’s one of the last old style badges and first facelift model.

Yeah had a 2019 GT in grey made the mistake of trading in for an EV6… have since seen the error in my ways .

That's interesting. I know that when KIA sent out the refresh early in '21 it was the '22 model year, being sold almost all the way through 2021. I didn't know that the new badging didn't appear on the first '22 MY Stingers.

What do you think about keeping the old style KIA? If it were me, I would. That's because I keep my Stingers as original as possible. Rebadging is of course a thing with a lot of owners.

Well I’ve already changed the badge on the back to a black centred “stinger” rather than the Kia badge and small stinger chrome.

I’ve got a new style black badge to go on the front but the garage I bought it off has some repair work to do on the front so I’ll decide once that is done. Personally I prefer the new badge. Unfortunately it still has the old badge on the steering wheel and I’m not paying £500 ish for a new airbag with the new badge on. Also the start up in the entertainment centre is also the old badge. Soo not sure but leaning towards changing is my answer haha

And your center caps are all old style KIA. Those were the ones I noticed first in your pics. I thought that the black "Stinger" on the hatch was an OE badge, because the later MYs all had that larger centered Stinger script. I figured that they put black on too, not just chrome.

Nah not in the UK there was a number of options we didn’t/can’t get. I tried to get hold of the stinger Scorpion spoiler but the UK dealers can’t order it a very expensive to buy a US one and post to the uk with trumps new tariffs too. Also we didn’t get an AWD variant, can’t order the red seatbelts, and don’t get the option of the “stinger” puddle lights just the GT one. The uk rear comes with small stinger left side, centre Kia badge, small GT right. And it’s never been called a GTS here just the GT

Every country is a bit different I guess. The 2022 model year here in Canada was the first refresh, with the new Kia logo on the trunk and front facia. The word Stinger is off to the left of the licence plate on mine. (I took off the Kia badge on the trunk.)
Your tail lights are definitely refresh version.
Canadian Stingers are just called GT as well. No GT1 or GT2 or GTS. It was either the GT Elite or GT Limited.
We also never got the 2.5 4 cyl version. There were also some colours we never got, but I can't remember which ones.

Same here there was only 5 colours available 1 free colour option that was bright orange the rest were like another £900 to get painted.

Nah, the 3.3 was always was called the GTS, mine is 2018 and even has the GTs badge

Fair enough I had a 2020 that was just a GT but I have see a couple with an aftermarket “S” badge including my new 21/22 now taken off.
