Never had a car that turned so many heads.

Drove into Bunnings car park today, passed a guy driving a Merc convertible , followed by another guy in a European brand (perhaps Peugeot)
They both did a neck snap as they were passing me, you could almost see the goggs in their brains turning and both had this expression of " wtf did I just pass ?"

A pair of envious Rollers

ha ha ...After looking at it closer he said it looks like a Maserati :)

He probably realised he was 10 seconds away from being beaten to death with a microfibre towel.

Ugh those chrome grills are so awfully ostentatious!
I'm not particularly fond of any cars with " big ass grills " which is why I don't like a lot of the Lexus with the grills they have.

Where the hell are you parking Shannon. Looks like rich city. That Rolls on the left looks so close to the wall.
Both of them are practically brushing the pillars. They look like they're flinching away from the "pretentious peasant" KIA.

(Thems-some very narrow looking parking slots!)

Level P1 (restricted parking) at The Star. The rollers are part of their VIP limo fleet. There's a Bentley just out of shot next to "DARLNG". Also not unusual to see a dozen or so exotics there each day. There's a Ceramic Grey GT that regularly visits but I haven't been able to spot the driver so far. And a Yellow GT parked next to me around a month ago.

Actually the spaces on that floor are quite generous so unlikely you would get a ding from someone's door.

Very fancy. From now on I will address you as Sir Shannon.

These 3 things happened within about a 6-hour time period on Saturday
1) parked close to the entrance at Walmart and was loading things in to the car. I heard a boy say 'wow, look at that car'. His dad looked over, but didn't seem too interested. The boy kept walking, but was looking back over his shoulder the whole time -- until he walked straight in to a concrete pole.

2) in another parking lot, an elderly woman (grandmother age for sure) was taking photos of the car.

3) parking at an athletic event where you had to pay to get in. The ticket taker said 'we do valet parking for cars like yours'

I had a nice Aussie bloke compliment my car outside the grocery store the other day.

In the process of getting into my car after visiting the bank, two guys were walking past and turning their heads to look at it. I heard part of their conversation - "that sure is a good looking car".

I was getting winter tires/wheels put on last week. When the mechanic was done, he came in and told me what a great car it was. About 5 minutes later, he came to the waiting area again and kept raving about the car. He said he was nervous to drive it because it was the most expensive car he had ever driven. I said that I doubted that, and told him that I had paid a total of $44,000 for it (GT2, lease). The next day I was parked at the far end of a Walmart parking lot, and he pulled up right alongside of me and parked.

Ooow, he's stalking you now......I hoped you might say he pulled up next to you in his own Stinger, maybe if he's seriously interested he will get one.

Filling up a couple of days ago at Culburra Beach and a guy filling up his VW EOS says "How does it go?" and he mentions the police using them in QLD and reckons NSW should too. Noone used to ask me about my Kia Carnival, LOL.

I swear to you that today as me and my family were walking out of Sam's Club there was an older couple taking pictures of my GTS. I always tell my wife that people constantly check out my car to the point where she gets annoyed with me.

Today, I told her, "look, they are taking pics of my car" and she just smirked and rolled her eyes at me. As I walked by the couple I asked them if they liked it and we had a short discussion about it.

Went in to the store and after about 20 minutes I came out. Someone had parked a red Alfa Romeo Giulia next to me. As I was loading my groceries next to me someone walked up to me and was talking about how much more he liked the look of the Stinger over the Guilia. It wasn't the Quadrifoglio but it's nice to have that opinion from someone. I was on the fence with the Quadrifoglio and the stinger. The reliability issues pushed me away though. 6 months later and I still love walking up to this car and all the rubbernecking I see while driving. Almost managed to cause a crash also. Someone was making a turn and looking at the car and swerved in to the next lane. Good times.
