Need Help picking new wheels

2, 5 and 6 only ones that look half decent, but they would require a really good custom powder coating colour because the colour quality of the finish is shit on cheap wheels. Cheap wheels in general tend to look bad on a more premium oriented car like the Stinger, especially in real life. I would aim for slightly used as someone earlier suggested, be patient and get a proper bargain.

How much did you pay is there a weight difference?

I haven’t got the G70 wheels in hand yet but I did order a used set with less than 100 miles on the tires. It was $1,900 for the 19”staggered wheels, Michelin tires, tpms sensors, and wheel caps. The wheels have some slight blemishes on them so I will have to try to remedy that when I get them.

The thing that sweetened the deal was free shipping all the way across the country. I felt like $1,900 out the door was reasonable considering I should be able to just mount these wheels and tires on and go.

Unfortunately, I believe these wheels weigh just the same as the stock 19” Stinger wheels so no real benefit there. I don’t understand why these stock wheels are so heavy?

I’ll make it easy. Stay with the OEM. They match the car perfectly!

I honestly think the OEM Stinger wheels are it’s biggest downfall besides the KIA badges.
The stock wheels just look cheap. They don’t look like any other wheels on the market today but they have that huge plastic center cap.

I probably am not the only one that thinks that either since Kia changed the wheels completely for the 2021 model year. Now they mimic the Mercedes-Benz AMG wheels which are much more upscale looking.

To each their own. I think the 2021 new wheels are a step backwards. Manufacturers feel compelled to change wheels during a refresh to make things feel new.

I also do not like the new 2021 wheels. I don’t want mine to look like a BMW or Mercedes. That’s the allure of the Stinger. It’s “different”. The refresh just made it look more like other cars IMO.

Am looking for new wheels and have sort-of decided on the Koya SF06 in Gloss Black (as pictured). I could not find many reviews except for 2 people who gave a one star on how badly the company made the wheels, yet other people tell me they are a top brand. Before I part with my $$, can anyone give me any info they might have on these?

Not sure about those specific wheels. However, my biggest gripe against all black wheels is that they don’t show any details in pictures.

Just look at the picture you showed. Those could be literally any black wheel and we couldn’t tell what design they are from the picture. They could be Ronal Bear wheels and we wouldn’t be able to tell if they were all black like that.

I prefer a wheel that stands out more but still is not too flashy.

Just need better pictures when running black wheels.

I can barely make out the details of the wheels in that picture. I am not saying they look bad. I just can’t tell exactly what they look like from these pictures.

I don't have any trouble seeing the detail in those wheels. It's a look. And that's a good pic; it joins my calendar collection. :D

Yes agreed. I went to another store today and they put these against my car, with the dark tinted face "popping" from the gloss black underneath. They are Vertini RF.1 where I'll need to go up to 20", but that's not a problem as I'll be due for new tyres soon so will grab the whole package. But....I STILL like all black, even though I agree with your earlier comment.

Yes, I don't mean to say that black rims are bad. It is just that they don't show as much detail specifically in pictures. In real life you rarely encounter the same issues with black rims as you do in pictures. It has to do with dynamic range of cameras especially cameras in phones. With limited dynamic range the camera has to either blowout highlights or crush details in shadows. More often than not it crushes the shadow detail.

All of these black rims are great looking rims. I just wish their details showed up better in pictures.
