Micro blue looks great. I almost went with that, but I like the way the sunroof and the hood vents blended in with the black better. Would have really preferred red (or even yellow), but not available on the premium.

If you are in Chicago Area, look into Gerald Kia (Naperville). I looked around quite a lot and that's the best deal i found. It was also pretty no BS experience. I finalized my deal on Email and phone and showed up to pick up the car. PM if need more info.

I went to Gerald in North Aurora, but also dealt before with Gerald Naperville - both are excellent dealerships!

Napleton Kia of Elmhurst is shady AF. I literally walked out of finance yesterday on the last page to sign. My wonderful wife, did not. This is not a must have car for me. My STi is just fine, but if someone was willing to give me what I wanted for a trade in and be below invoice on a base GT AWD in the color I wanted, then, sure, why not.

$399 for etching and $250 for "Free" maintenance for 2 years, which didn't get brought up until the last page, so I told them remove these 2 items or I am leaving. I was told, finance guys words "I am being totally transparent, and I cannot remove the etching, it's an insurance thing." I told them remove them or I'm gone. He told me not to yell at him, so I walked out, told the wife to get up, we are leaving. 20 minutes later she came out. This went on for 2 hours and ultimately I got what I wanted. Not the greatest deal, but still below invoice and a tad less for my trade than I wanted, but enough to get me inside to sign.

One other note, as I have not picked up the car as of this post because of a dealer locate and yesterday being a holiday, I have to go back today to pick it up. So barring anything wrong with the Stinger I should have my new car by 8pm tonight.

Happy Birthday to me. I have my doubts.

So in a nutshell, stay away from Napleton or at least go in knowing you will need to get the GM involved to remove their BS markups.

Shady that you found out as you were signing. If a dealer trade they do not need to add etching. I'd just be looking at the paint closely. Which color did you go with? Happy Birthday!

Yep. This is my 20th new car purchase and my 5th Kia. They found me a Ceramic Silver in Waukegan. Mind you, this was after I was all set to buy the Sunset Yellow they had on their lot with 23 miles on the odo. They say someone had money down on it but never showed up for it, came in and took the down payment back so they had just put it on the lot on July 4th. After an hour of sitting at the salesdesk, they came back and said that Kia has a Hold/Do Not Sell on the Sunset Yellow Limited edition models but they found me a GT without driver assist in Ceramic, which I totally would like. So here we are. If you could tell me, is there really a hold on the Limited's, I think they are just lying to me because they think they could get someone to pay more for it.

You cannot buy a Limited due to paint issues. Stop sale on all Yellow Stingers.

There is, in fact, a hold on sunset yellow, at least in my area (DC).

WTF. I knew that when I bought my STi that the Subi paint had issues, but on my other 4 Kia's I do not have any issues what so ever. Hopefully the Ceramic Silver is not prone to this, if so, Kia will be hearing from me, that is if I even get one. Still waiting on the dealership to call me to tell me to come and get it.

Ceramic silver from what I gather is one of the more durable colors. Take a look at the poll though and gauge for yourself.

I have a Sunset Yellow, with paint issues, and could not be happier...it will all work itself in the end.

Kudos for "catching" the dealer BS...i fear way too many have that pushed right by them on not even know it.

International Kia of Orland took great care of me and two or three other new Stinger owners, you should check with them great incentives and honest.

First stop was there, as I always do. Dan is AWESOME, but would not give me what I need for my trade, so I had to go else ware. .

Any Kia dealer on here that could answer me this. On the Kia website, when looking at vehicles, specifically GT's the color of the car that is called Ceramic Silver is actually Silky Silver in the picture when compared to a GT1 or GT2 in Ceramic Silver. I am guessing this is just an error on the web design? Or did they actually rename silky silver to Ceramic Silver on the GT? I'll find out as soon as I drive back out to Napleton this evening. The window sticker that I was shown says Ceramic Silver, but I will only believe it when I see it.

Nope. Dealership in Waukegan was closed. So I truly feel that they will not be getting the car as its 1:30 and they still haven't called me.
