Hi there!

Just wondering if anyone with mykey premium can successfully use the turbo timer function? The instructions say to exit the car as usual etc wait for the long beep to finish (fob detected outside of vehicle while running) then to simply press the lock button on handle and it should start it's 90 seconds delayed stop.

Unfortunately if I do this my car simply turns itself off after 4-5 seconds. If I press the bottom twice, it enters the 15 minute delayed shutdown mode (I haven't timed this) but it allows me to enter and press the brake pedal then it comes back "online"

2018 gt-line from New Zealand.

Any help on how you active yours would be great - the companies support seems pretty lacklustre.

Mine works fine, after about 90 seconds it shuts off the engine. In the past, I had a problem with the remote start - mykeypremium turned the starter for about half a second only, the engine did not have time to start. Mykeypremium advised me to disconnect all cables for 5 minutes, nothing else. And then it helped me, since then it works without problems. You can try a similar "fix" :-)

Thanks for the response, I had just disconnected mine all last night to give this another shot.

Could you please give me the exact "how" you activate yours? Some people are pressing their button once some are holding etc haha.

Exit the car, wait for the "you've left your car running and have the fob beep" to end, then press the handle lock once and it should activate right? Mine just turns the car off after 5 seconds

Hi, I do it like this: I get out of the car / engine running of course :-), close the door, keyfob in pocket, wait for the beeping to stop, press /not hold down/ the button on the door handle - that's it. After pressing the button on the door handle, it beeps once more - confirmation of the turbo timer function, the car then locks and that's it. After about 90 seconds, the engine shuts off.

Thanks heaps, mine is a no go doing exactly the same... I'll continue to talk options with mykey. Really appreciate you confirming the steps!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
To anyone else who eventuates on this thread having issues, mykey has agreed that it's a faulty unit and are starting a return for replacement phase. Shipping price from NZ back to US is a scary thought!

Sooooo I just received my replacement unit and it seems DOA... Can't even get it to communicate with the car. Does one set of beeps, have unplugged and checked all connections atleast 10 times. The first unit had remote start working but the turbo timer function was borked, this one can't even get that far. Reached out to discuss having to send it back for another replacement... Another two weeks to wait - at this point I really can't recommend this product.

Another update. After spamming the company for about three weeks they agreed to send me a replacement, they have made changes to the stinger model and the turbo timer is now just a revised "car can stay on for 20 Minutes while locked" which is pretty pointless... Turbo timer would have been preferred. Anyways, remote start works and can atleast lock the vehicle while running.

Was a pretty painful experience overall but atleast I've finally got a working product - will update this thread if I have any further issues
