I have been desperately searching high and low for a Gunmetal Matte Gray AWD Stinger Tribute Edition. I have come up empty handed time and time again. At this point I would even take an AWD Tribute in Green. If anyone, in any capacity, has information about how or where to purchase an AWD Tribute Edition please, for the love of everything good in this world, let me know... I would be eternally grateful for any help or efforts aiding me in my ever ending search to purchase this ever elusive Mona Lisa they call the Tribute Edition. Thank you for any time or effort spent, even if it's just to read this thread. Have a great day fellow Stinger enthusiasts!

It's pretty limited. I think they only built 440 for US. So, probably, they are sold out already. Did you check kia site?

Find a car broker to do the hunt is my best suggestion

Yeah, at this point, your only bet is the secondary market. Check frequently on sites like Autotrader, Edmunds, etc. Used car listings show up all the time, and the popular ones don't hang around for long. Tributes are so rare, you'd have to count on luck to bag one.

That said... understand you got your heart set on the Tribute, but realistically, other than the sentimental value, there really isn't much it offers other a regular GT2 doesn't already. Matte paint take special care, and it's a b***h to paint match, if the car ever needs body repair. I would avoid it just because of that.

Because of its rarity, prices will likely stay high for a little while. However, in a few years, the novelty will likely wane and it'll be just another used Stinger on the lot. From what I've seen over the years, special editions don't much hold their value any better than comparably equipped non-special edition cars of the same model/yr. If it were me, I would look for a GT2 and use part of the $$savings towards a nice set of lightweight aftermarket wheels.

Truth. My neighbor was interested in the Stinger from early on and was waiting until their Forte lease ended to maybe finally get one. Then the announcement of ending the car came and he looked into getting a Tribute, but no luck. He was in bed drifting off to sleep - works nights - when the salesman he had been working with called and asked if he still wanted a Tribute, because they had one that the customer had cancelled. Neighbor said yes, I am on my way. He dressed and was short on sleep next shift, but he got the Tribute that same evening. Just luck.

Had about 2 or 3 of the moonscape AWD models between April to May ot June. When they disappeared we got one, maybe two of the ascot green ones. Now for new Stingers, there's only about 2 GT2's and one GT-Line in a 400 mile radius from where I live. So if you don't currently have a Stinger, and you want to buy new, I highly suggest you do so now otherwise your only option will be used.

Looks like they have a green tribute awd at Bob Sight Independence Kia in Missouri. Not sure how far you're willing to go. I'd post a link but I'm too new.

Have you done a search of all Kia dealers and searched their new stock. That's how I found new Stingers and avoided having to order one on long lead time.

Yes, I search it daily atm. And you’re right there were only 440 shipped to the US. Of that 440, only 262 are the AWD drive train I’m looking for. I imagine you’re right. They’re most likely sold out. I’m holding out hope on finding one used with low mileage now. Thanks for your comment brotha.

Funny isn't it

These cars have been around for a while but suddenly when they aren't people get desperate.

New Stingers have been available all year in Australia, not the Tribute because none came here now, people want them because you can't get them

I had no trouble.

Walked into a dealer bought one. Went back and bought a second. Cash

There is a 2023 with 164 miles (green) at Landers Kia in Little Rock, Arkansas for nearly $58K. I cannot post a link yet. Sorry.

Have you looked at an Ascot Green Stinger in person? It's a really nice color...I know the matte grey is unique to the Tribute, but unless that's your hangup, maybe check out the green ones.

That is so true, and I fall into that category.
I've wanted one since they came out in 2018, but wasn't in a position to get one at that time.
Kept my eye on them since then, and when they announced that this was the last year, I decided it was now or never.
I wanted new as well, not used. When I started to look seriously, there were none to be had.
I put deposits down at two different dealers....and waited.
Got a call about 2 months later that said if I wanted one, they had one coming in from a previous order.
The original purchaser failed his credit check, so it was available to the next guy on the list (me).
It wasn't my first choice re: colour, but it had everything else I wanted. I jumped on it right away and have zero regrets.
I haven't seen any new ones listed around here since. There's a slightly used one that's listed locally at $5K over what I paid new.
