My brand new Stinger is falling apart

I have a 2020 GT2 AWD Stinger with 41000 miles on it and other then the trunk rattle when i bought it in 2021 the car is wonderful.
Oh yeah my one complaint.....The brakes..they were shuddering and shaking the car around 30000 miles so i had a private garage replace the rotors and the brake pads then took it to Kia for a wheel alignment and the car is perfect.

Just sold my Stinger one week short of 6 years ownership. Zero issues after 79k kms.

Only one bug bear that was if the A/C or climate control was switched off the heater core pipe would heat up and make the cabin like an oven.

I'm sorry to hear your car has any issues. I've noticed similar issues of a lot of cars after 2020. Not pointing fingers but after the pandemic a lot of companies are suffering quality issues. I had my own problems with my 22 GT1. Both eh front door panels the door handles broke. I also had issues with the black chrome putting as well. DO NOT USE COMERCIAL CAR WASH DETERGENTS. But a good dealer will fix those issues. I have 20k miles on my stinger now. And I have had zero issues besides those Hopes this helps.

lol that’s seems to be the running joke concerning my car. I had started a list with the service station way before they were able to get me in. But yes the warranty covers it. I buy new whenever I buy and this is the 1st time I’ve ever experienced this. 1st time I ever had to pay for oil changes with a new car as well smh

I wrote it as it was listed on my service report. And yes we call license plates “tags” in my area. It’s all covered by the warranty, of course, however I’ve never experienced any vehicle I’ve owned with this many “detailed” issues. Especially new. I’m not the one to ask why it’s broken that’s a question for Kia. Trust I’m the person who gets top dollar for trades bc I take great care of my vehicles. This list started the same week I bought the car. The things broken aren’t things that the owner would be tinkering with at any time. I hardly use the horn so there’s no telling how long it wasn’t working.
Its been a few months after this comment was made. How are things going with your stinger now? I am a new owner myself and I bought mine almost new (8k miles). I want to believe yours is a one in a few cases as most owners have has little to no complaints. I sincerely hope your experience with the car is much now. Good thing most if not all the things you mentioned were covered under warranty.

I bought the car new with 6 miles on it. I had my chrome trim replaced on the hatch at about 12k miles. My car spends its days inside a parking garage during the day and my home garage at night. it's only exposed to the elements while it's moving. I personally hand wash my car maybe once a month if I'm lucky, and it never goes to commercial washes. I'm still seeing one of the trim pieces fade again.

otherwise, this car has been fantastic for almost 5 years and 30k miles (thanks to covid.) I'm taking it in this week for the oil pipe recall, I hope they don't destroy something else, as every service dept. I've taken it to has messed up one way or another.

Have you considered wrapping the trim pieces? That is what I am going to do with mine. It gives it that extra protection from the elements, whatever those are, because given your situation, your trim pieces shouldn't be fading at that rate. Wrap it, I'd say.
Regarding the recall, I checked my VIN for recall and there was none for my car, I am guessing maybe the previous owner took it in? I will be at my dealership on Tuesday to have my taillight condensation fixed- under warranty of course- and I will ask if they could check my car for any recalls.

Maybe too late to help you, but for any others finding this: it may be the independent rear climate control. If it's set to hot, then even if the front HVAC is off or blowing cool, the car will send heat to the rear vents, making the center console very warm.

I set mine just on the cool side of neutral, so it blows cold when the AC is on up front, and doesn't send any residual heat when AC is off.
