Is it as good of an intercooler as Mishimoto? Probably not, but I paid around 1/3rd the price as what Mishimoto will end up costing (Vividracing gave me a big discount, new, shipped) and I don't think Mishi will be worth the huge price increase in terms of performance, unless going with a hybrid turbo upgrade (maybe).

I appreciate Mishimoto doing and sharing their tests and comparison info; though, I'm no longer waiting for their product. Good luck everyone.

Looks good . The AP is 8" high and it fits under the G70 Aluminum crash beam which is good to know, The Mishimoto is 8" as well so should fit the G70 beam, unless they place it higher.

Just finished my before/after datalogging of the AP intercooler vs stock. I haven't compiled the data yet, but so far it looks like I'm seeing between 10°-20° cooler IATs after heat soaking the engine.

Also will compare to see if the boost profile is any different. This might show any changes in spooling, could potentially show pressure drop (though unlikely as the ECU and JB4 would compensate). But again, so far I haven't noticed any changes in it spooling slower, nor changes in power.

I really think that when people say they noticed a big improvement in power with a new intercooler, while on the street, it's actually all in their heads. Case in point, Mishi only showed a few HP difference on their tuned comparison after heat soaking the engine, and that's all with new, better flowing charge piping and new, proven core with excellent end tanks. So, if all that stuff is only making a couple more HP, there is no way any other intercooler is making more....or even as much. Lol.

I went ahead and got the BMS Intercooler when they first went on sale for 400 or 499? cant remember. Now they are 200 more. I do like it a lot. Seems to really keep the pulls more consistent and heat soak down.

that intercooler is huge I can totally see it keeping temps down my only problem with that intercooler is that 30% to 40% of the unit is behind the crash bar. Have you noticed any change in boost? What have been internal temperature?

I just finished unboxing my AP intercooler and I’m very happy. I wish I would’ve ordered it months ago. my friend is gonna let me use his lift for the install Tomorrow...I’ll post pictures

That merge pipe is nice, like all of his stuff, but man I can't justify the costs.

I had a "track" race against a gen 6 camaro with a lot of sharp turns and hard braking we were both well over 160 mph for several miles at different points during the 20 mile race. He couldn't pass me until the road was upsetting my suspension and scaring the hell out of me. I pulled away from him every time it smoothed out. My point is the engine Temps would climb to 210 to 215 and within 10 seconds off the boost it was down to 190 or so and I never noticed a drop in power like I used to.

Thanks ...I’ve been doing at ton of research the last few months. Toddasaurus Help me out the most the dude is very knowledgeable if you look back two pages I think... he broke down the whole bigger intercooler aspect. He picked up a AP intercooler And I came across the tork install and I was sold...I might not know a lot but I do know poor customer service... (my uncle has been in Business 45 years) And he has taught me a lot About handling customers and just plain old customer service
