Last week, had a CEL come up for the first time on the stinger. Was for a misfire on cylinder 6. I noticed a few days before that my idle was stumbling pretty consistently and the car would have hesitation when driving. The odd part was that it would only hesitate at light throttle and seemed to pull fine under a larger load.
At the time I was running Denso IHK24 plugs and was switching between map 2 on 92 octane and map 3/4 on E30 with the JB4. I decided to pick up some Denso IHK27 and install those since it is somewhat cheap and easy to do. Sure enough, that solved the issue and the car felt a lot smoother and responsive. The IHK24 plug in cylinder 6 had a small crack on it, which I have seen someone else experience in the forums...
I drive the car moderately as a daily... it's more of a weekend warrior. It seems odd to me that even 1 step colder plugs are having this many issues especially under normal circumstances. Also in case anybody wants more details, the only mods I have installed are intakes and jb4. The IHK24's were gapped perfectly to .022 as well prior to install.
