Did you go with the stainless steel one? Does it feel heavier or lighter than the stock system?I ordered from the MBRP exhaust store Tuesday night and got it Friday morning with free shipping. Installed it today and it sounds great! The only issue may have happened during shipping where the driver side muffler inflow was bent in slightly, but was able to bend it back out to a circle with a wrench.
I went with the stainless version. It does feel heavier than stock and the piping is certainly thicker. I weighed the stock exhaust at 57 lbs and the UPS shipping weight of MBRP was around 70 lbs. I did not weigh MBRP, but based on the UPS weight and my own feel, it is heavier.Did you go with the stainless steel one? Does it feel heavier or lighter than the stock system?
I am reading that some people claim the MBRP catback is heavier and therefore adds unnecessary weight to the vehicle.

I just ordered mine (today) from MBRP US direct, and emailed to confirm they had inventory before buying. They responded quickly and said they did - also used code MBRP10 for an extra $60 off. Free shipping, no tax, OTD for $939.I ordered mine 12/31/20 (New Years Sale - great price!) from a vendor on here as well. I knew it was backordered (per information on their site), but I had read they still ship fairly quickly. I inquired soon after purchase for an eta on ship date and was told by the end of January. With no email of a ship date yet, I was told today it may not ship until Feb. 22nd. MacGyver, I can't believe you got it in 3 days - wow! I am being told that the manufacturer is the hold up (back orders), but this doesn't seem logical since MBRP is the manufacturer and shipped yours in 3 days.
The 63mm inlet 105mm oval outlet are the correct size to fit in the stock openings.I just ordered mine (today) from MBRP US direct, and emailed to confirm they had inventory before buying. Now I just have to figure out the the exhaust tip situation - dig the AKRIPOVA? ones but curious as to the correct dimensions. Checked a lot of the threads and appreciate the insight into assisting with my decision.
I'll follow up when I confirm they're delivered.
Thanks Mac - so, the 2.5" inlet and 4" outlet - I was thinking more the overall length? Or does it not matter -The 63mm inlet 105mm oval outlet are the correct size to fit in the stock openings.
Ah ok! Thank you!
Why would the MBRP be heavier? Won't that reduce performance then? Adding more weight slows the car down no?
