Man that exhaust sounds pretty good. Not good enough to go through the hassle of removing and selling my Thermal to switch em out, but definitely (imo) the best sounding catback for the Stinger I've heard.

Little Teaser Video

Did a short one minute video this morning.

MBRP cold start, for 35 seconds you can hear the engine warming up and it calm down.

This was done in Comfort, it was a bit early so I only did couple of revs.

Found the suction cup for the GoPro so I could do more video, depending on what you folks would want to see.

Hope the sound is good, I thought when I listened back on my phone, the sound was quite decent, you can always put your headphones on :ninja:

A clip of a rev from your vid is now the text/email notification sound on my phone.

Couldn’t agree more... hopefully we now stay on track!!

Got my jb4 installed as well yesterday.
Little video coming soon, been away for the long weekend but hopefully next week I can do a launch control, 100km/h to 0 and some short acceleration.
I might just do it all in SPORT mode as well.

Every time I get a notification from this thread I'm hoping there is actually a new posting about MBRP. :(

MAYBE Sport mode?! Switching to Sport mode is part of my default startup procedure!

Don't forget the downshift on deceleration.

I'd like to hear about your JB4 experience. Did you swap plugs, too? I really like the idea of higher hp & tq nums, but stock is already enough to scare the fam and other passengers! :sneaky:

Map 5 will make them crap their pants.

My girl almost died a couple days ago as myself and the new M850 harassed an F80. The F80 was so mad that he couldn't catch me that he veered off the highway! The M850 and I just kept carving up traffic for like 5 more miles.

How loud is this exhaust on a scale of 1 to 10?
10 being borla (borla is the loudest right?)

Different car with JB4. You think it goes good now:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have not heard the Borla in person but I have seen a dozen videos so if I compare just video sound to video sound and if your loudest metric is Borla @10 (which would mean QUITE loud ) then I would say MBRP is at 7.5 probably get you a solid 8.5 with the dp.
Hopefully once the weather gets a bit better for me to do couple of runs, I will upload the video of actually driving with it and you can tell us what you think.

@ecko04 did an amazing job with the PnP fuel wires, it does look super neat in the engine bay and knowing I can take those off and not worried about slicing into the wires every time it needs to come off is such a plus.
I have not done a run yet so I cannot tell you however the install is super straight forward, I probably spent more time getting the obd2 cable through he firewall than doing the whole install.
Gaping the sparks was straight forward however I had the cheap tool (circular gaping tool, made of led) so every time I tried to make them to .022, it left marked on my gaping tool.
Removing the plugs was actually not hard at all, you definitely need the right tool/swivels,extensions...
#5 (middle passenger) was the hardest... there is no much room to work with. I had to bend the plug to pull it out, they are flexible, probably for that matter. I am not super mechanically inclined , I had someone, who is though, guiding me and it took over an hour maybe. it was quite rewarding to do that myself as well ! I ran the car 2 weeks on the denso, no jb4, and the car ran well so for anyone wanting to do the JB4, you can do the sparks first for sure.

I've heard the Borla in person and it is loud, but doesn't sound good IMHO. There is a tin like residual resonance and pitch to the note.

Nice video. Can't wait till mine come in. I still have plugs, intakes, JB4 and rear sway to install as well. Gonna get it all done at once. Hoping for a dramatic difference!

Jumping on the bandwagon, I just ordered the SS MBRP + Carbon Fiber exhaust tips to match my stock setup. Can't wait to get them installed.

I've been waiting more than 5 weeks (so far) for my MBRP and still waiting for the other half of my tips order placed at the same time. Keep tellling myself it should be soon. Should be great once they're installed!
