• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Has anyone in MA been able to remotely start/control climate with these apps at all? Or some workaround?

As far as I know those apps don't work for us in the US market as our cars don't have the Sim cards installed.

Thanks, I know all about the law and why it does not work. I was just hoping someone may have figured out a way around it. I talked to Kia directly about it and they said a car from outside MA will have it keyed to on, linked to the VIN. If in MA, it is all shut off at the factory, also keyed to VIN. So it seems possible that if you buy it outside of MA, you may still be able to get it turned on. But no guarantees, as registrations are tied to VINs.
