M&S Series 2 Spoiler & Side Skirt Installed

Looks great in gloss black. They're doing another group buy that ends 9/22, thinking of snagging the front and side splitters and the trunk spoiler

I installed the side skirts a few months ago. The double sided tape slowly started to peel off, starting at the front and back ends. I took them off since.

I'll paint them and reinstall, this time I'm thinking line up the underside where the screws go on first, then do the tape part. My first install I installed the tape parts first, then the screws underneath which seemed to cause the taped parts to slowly tear off as it flexed.

Curious how yours holds up over time, or if you did something different.

same exact problem I have retaped them twice. didn't feel like there's any stress or pressure on the tape when I put the screws on they pretty much lined up

No no I had to remove them You could try modifying them maybe

I really like the front center wing but curious if it will pair well with a non M&S front splitter.

Do you see the center wing from your front cam? haha

no you don't see the wing from the camera and it would pair really well I drilled one hole on each side of mine and put a pop rivet in it and then painted the rivits black with fingernail polish just to ensure it stays on there

I the stars must be on my side as I was able to still order from M&S! Getting that center wing and a type A spoiler.

Hopefully, the provided 3m tape will be strong enough to hold without additional mounting hardware. In the distant future, I plan to make that center wing functional by upgrading my intercooler

yeah the tape is plenty strong I didn't feel like it was going to come off and I'm sure it helps direct the air a little more

These side splitters look great, I'm seriously considering a set for myself. When I'm shopping around I'm seeing pictures with an embossed GTM logo towards the rear of the skirt, did you have this on yours? I can't see it in your pictures so did you have it filled and smoothed out before painting?

Mine did not come with an logos on the sideskirts.
