I stopped in to this dealership on 02/09/2018 to see a GT2 in person after all the positive reviews about the Stinger. This is a small dealership and initially the salesman Andrew was very helpful. I asked if the car in the showroom was a demo car or a customer car because the car was dirty, had a baby car seat in the back, a box of Klenex and muddy footprints on the back of the seat. Apparently the manager of the store was using it as his daily driver and as the dealership's one Red GT2 demo vehicle. There were no others on the lot. In any case I returned the next day with my wife for a test drive. That went very well. After the test drive the sales guy presented some numbers. I had leased a 2017 Accord and was looking for them to buy out the two remaining years on the lease. At first he indicated this would be no problem and he presented a final sale price of $51, 400. which was pretty close to where we wanted to be but my wife and I wanted to digest the numbers and told him we were going to head to lunch and discuss it. At lunch we did a lot of online research and made an offer of $50,812 plus a detailed cleaning of the car prior to our return. He agreed and told us it would only take an hour to clean the car. He told us it was a generous offer and we went home to gather the extra set of keys for the Accord assuming we had his agreement on price. When we arrived the car was still filthy on the inside and he told us the actual sale price of the car was actually going to be close to $57,000 PLUS tax and license. We had been gone for only an hour and he jacked the price up close to $5000. This was a total BS attempt to bait and switch on the price of the vehicle. We walked out furious with how he had lead us on and wasted our time. An hour later we made a deal for the same exact same car for several thousand dollars less and the competitor paid off 100 % of the Accord. We settled on $52,000 before tax and license. Right after completing the sale at the competitor dealer, the Lupient KIA sales guy dropped the price of the first car I looked at by about $4000. Too late though, No chance I was gonna work with him after all the nonsense and I already had a much better deal with LUTHER KIA of Bloomington MN. They had a large number of every variation of the car and lead with their first , only and best price of $52,000 plus tax and license which is the TRUECAR fair market price in this area of Minnesota. We drove out with a SPOTLESS CLEAN new GT2 in under two hours from when we walked in the door. Night and day difference.
