Lucille: Now Lowered

Yes. Actually the mechanic got the specs from this forum.

Was just going to see if I could find those specs on here. Going to do an alignment this weekend and our machine here doesn't have the Stinger info inputed currently. Would you happen to still have the specs?

Also, I'd love to lower it that 1" with the springs, even living in PA with awful roads it's doable, having prior experience with a lowered car. Have a lifted Cherokee for bad weather. Only real issue is my ramped driveway, car just barely squeaks by now.

Here you go, post number 5.

Alignment Specs?

Thank you. Do you/we know what the difference between the normal and high suspension is?

There was some discussion of it in that thread. I'm not sure if a consensus has been reached. I forget which one my mechanic used.

I couldn't make out a consensus either. Maybe I'll try calling Kia and see if they can provide info. I've only got 600 some miles now and right from the get-go it's been pulling left just the tiniest bit.

Thanks for your help!

I like!! this car just looks good with nothing less than 20's on aftermarket wheels. the wheel wells on the stinger are yuuuge...

I lowered my car last week with Eibach's kit.

I won't bother reviewing them since I mostly concur with what others have written. But as I promised in the other thread here some quick cell phone pics.to show the new stance.

First ... your ride is sweeter than Tupelo honey!!!

Second ... thanks for all your posts. Your input on this forum is unprecedented and has been a great source of info!

Third ... If I could implore you for a bit more information.

Getting my O'Hara back today lowered. In the near future I want to purchase new wheels and tires in one package. May have been posted previously but could you post ...

Wheel sizes and offsets for front and back wheels. Yours are staggered?

Tire size and brand.

Where you purchased your wheels, and did you purchase as a wheel and tire package together?

I presume no problems with rubbing or performance with your new wheels, tires, and springs?

Was going with 19s for wheels, but your 20s look fantastic!

Might go with GetYourWheels.com. for my future purchase. Great selection and reviews.

Thanks my brother Stinger owner!

Thanks for the kind words, Rango.

The wheels are Vertini 20x9 +35 and 20x10.5 +45.

The tires are Nitto NT555G2 in 245/35 and 285/30.

I got them from Josh at getyourwheels.com. He gave me an awesome price!

Here's more info about the ordering process, Josh's customer service, etc.

New Shoes for Lucille

My driveway has a bit of a dip where it meets the street so when I leave or come home the wheels are always at some combination of slightly elevated/half lock/full lock/seesawed orientation and they've never rubbed anything.

thanks man ill check it out.. is your speedo the same reading?

Practically.

At 80 mph it would read appx 2.5 mph higher than I'm actually going.

It will never cause me to get a ticket.
