I have a 2021 gt1 AWD, lowered the car a year ago with Ark Gt-f springs, also eibach sways, magan racing camber and toe arms in the rear... Got a alignment about a month ago and every since the ass end of the car seems jerk around slightly when I hit bumps... I was thinking they played with my camber and toe too much so I went back.. shop said that's a possibility then we went and were slloking at the car and noticed my right rear is 5/8 of a inch lower than the driver side. Wtf... I looked at pics of right after I got it lowered and couldnt really tell.. I called Ark and he said to check the camber arms first, and make sure the spring is seated correctly.. the spring does almost look a little crooked when I look under there..also the insides of my tires are wearing down. Ride height on rear driver side is 27 inches, passenger 26 3/8... Shop is putting it on a lift on Friday. So what would you guys think could be the issue?? First thing to look at? And why would the ass jump around a little?? Seems to have happened after the alignment so maybe the spring is a separate issue? Car has 20k miles, TIA

Your spring isn't seated properly in the lower perch. And that much of a difference in right heights would totally affect the way the car drives

That's what I'm leaning towards.

Any other input out there,?? Heading to the shop tomorrow

Ill second @socalvn opinion. Assuming a 30mm drop 26 3/8 seems about right. Mine sat at 26 1/8 after settling. This was at the top of the wheel center to the ground

Weird that my rear driver's side is at 27 inches than.. that would seem a little high , I can't remember the drop on Gt-f springs.. I'd have to look it up, I now wish I would've measured all 4 corners before and after the drop

Could this possibly have anything to do with my Megan racing camber or toe arms in the rear?

My M&S springs were 26" all four corners.
The Megan Racing Arms would only offset camber caster or toe wouldn't affect ride height.
My new coilovers are also set to 26 inches all four corners.
If your rear springs not setting correctly in the perch it's going to be a big ride height difference should sit down in the groove and not on top of it

I just measured all 4..passenger side are both 26 1/8. Front driver is 26 1/4, rear driver is a solid 27 inches.. so I guess that wheel seems to be the oddball out.. I'm starting to think it's always been like this and when I got a recent alignment, they messed with my toe in the rear causing it to jump around in the back over bumps.. I measured the rear tires on the back and front, where you pick a tread and go across to the other tire... There was a 1/8 of inch difference between the 2

That jump around could come from that spring being out of the perch too. Its not contacting correctly so in turn the suspension geometry is out. Geometry may not be the right term but hopefully it makes sense. Super easy to not set the spring correctly if you're just trying to get it done in a timely manner. Or not notice the shift when pushing the control arm back up to reattach everything. Ask me how i know Hahahaha! As for your #'s once that drivers rear comes down the drivers frt will too a little, if that 1/8 is bugging you. Hope you get it figured out. At least now you have reference numbers to go by
.

Appreciate that... Weird thing is the springs have been on for a year.. it only started jumping around after my alignment a month ago.. maybe I somehow never noticed the spring abnormality, and now the alignment is causing the shiftiness... So I got 2 problems on my hands all of a sudden!

Rear springs hard to adjust myself?? I've done everything else on this car myself

And it's important to measure on level ground. It's amazing how much difference in height you can get by just moving your car to a different spot on the payment, garage floor or something like that are usually level. If you have a level
throw it down first to check that's even better.

Id say no they are pretty easy.

Here's a reference thread. Breaks it down really good

Ya I used my garage, very close to level

Thanks bud... I should just pull it all apart myself tomorrow... If that shop installed the spring incorrectly last summer they should cover it ya think, and the new shop that gave me a poor alignment... The thing is, every since I got it dropped it pulled to the right slightly, after several alignments 2 weeks after spring install.. hence why I went in for another alignment recently... Damn tall spring could possibly be causing the pull and causing them to have to mess with my camber and toe so much, which is causing the jumping around

Check the springs before you go back for another alignment. Yea i know that it sucks because im sure you're scheduled. If its a free check and realignment then it shouldn't be an issue to reschedule. If you're paying for it, id definitely wait. That way you can go through the backend first and get it set right. No reason to keep paying. Keep us updated.

Does your car have a LSD in the rear?

Mine was acting wonky and cleared up when I changed the diff fluid. Seems to be pretty temperamental when you start reaching that 35K replacement mark.

edit: I should say it was under acceleration, not necessarily when hitting bumps

Ya I'm at the shop right now... They seem to not think that the recent alignment they did could cause this..yet it never jumped around until the last month.. they're gonna visually see if the spring is set.. I think one spring is high which has been messing with my alignment every since and they messed with the rear toe causing the jumpiness... Yet they kind of give me the run around when I tell em this
