I just bought my 18 premium rwd and was wondering if this car should be able to smoke the rear tires? It has plenty of power but i thought it should do that i hope i dont sound silly

Howdy. Smoking the rear tires deliberately always sounds silly to me. :D Yes, the RWD 2.0L can break loose, or not, depending: on how cold it is, tire condition, elevation, road condition, etc.

It can if the car will let it. So many restrictions unlike the old days. Can't just do a break stand for instance

Someone yesterday suggested disconnecting the brake wire to the ECU; then you can stand on the brake and push the gas to 3K RPM and let go.
