Tip to disable the alarm, turn the engine off.

Leaving a vehicle running unattended in New Hampshire is illegal and you can get a $75 ticket for it.

Those buzzers are used for other warnings too, including if you try to lock the car with the key inside, my Lexus had the same functionality as the Stinger and it helped me once as my keys were in my jacket pocket, then I took the jacket off and put it in the car, and didn't put it on when I got out.

Mine only gives that beep if you leave the vehicle while running; like if I'm getting the mail.

Keeping the door slightly ajar can help, and the mail box is like 2 steps away from the curb, so it makes little sense to turn the car off.
