Lobbying for more "Darkness".......

Deep Chroma Blue for me as well! Saw that color in person and it is AMAZING!! If Kia does not bring this color to the US it is truly a missed opportunity! I believe this color alone will increase sales. Don't settle, let's demand it Kinda joking but not really if t works.

It looks like Australia has 8 of 10 colors (no White or Lake Stone) and Canada has 6 of 10 ( No Silky Silver, Deep Chroma Blue, Lake Stone, or Yellow, but they do get the Panthera Metal)
In the US, it looks like we're getting 7 of 10 colors.

It's tough because the car seems really nice. However, I don't think I can get over paying $50K and not getting the option to even choose my 2nd choice color. I don't really care for any of the other colors. I've got a light colored SUV and now I want a sports car that's darker, but with some unique personality. Those two colors fit the bill. i.e. not straight black, but dark with a twist.

One of the dealers where I saw the Deep Chroma Blue felt certain that it would be offered, but I don't think they really had a clue. They admitted that they knew nothing official at that time (a few weeks ago). I think they were just assuming (like anybody would) that it would be ridiculous for KIA to pay to ship demo cars all across the country in a color that they wouldn't even be offering. If KIA asked somewhere, I would certainly voice my choice. If not, then I guess I'll be letting them know with my dollar (or lack there of).

Anyone know if the nappa Red interior will be available with all exterior colors

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I just shortened it, but I meant merlot (the red leather color) can be in the GT, GT1, and GT2. In all models you get leather in the states, but only the GT2 gets Nappa leather.

Well, if the Panthera Metal is available then that will definitely help me stay focused on a possible purchase. However, I'm still hoping that KIA will somehow be shamed into making the Deep Chroma Blue available for order (since they showed the color in most of their showrooms).

I just received my car in Deep Chroma Blue, having only seen it online until I got the car I have to say it is everything I expected and more. Shame they are not making it available in the US.

Taking it for Ceramic Pro next week :D

Is that that paint protection the keeps the car clean all year round? Congratulations by the way. Let's see some pics!

Just to keep the "lobbying" alive, I notice that many EU countries seem to be offered the Deep Chroma Blue. Not the UK though, but they do get the Panthera Metal as does Canada. I thought the US was doing ok to get 7 out of the 10 colors. However, there are places getting 9 out 10 offered. Only one I haven't seen anywhere is the Lake Slate. Maybe that's a Korea only color? Just about everywhere seems to offer the Panthera Metal except of course the US. Maybe, the extensive de-contenting adjustments makes it so that they have to very exact about the colors going to the US. Either way, they need to include these dark colors and make it available to order. I'm still going to hope that the fact that they showed deep chroma blue in most of their dealer demos will compel them to not appear ridiculous and offer the color.

Well.... it’s been known to happen. When I got my Optima Hybrid in 2012, it showed that only ebony black (non metallic) would be available. However my car was in fact Aurora Black Pearl (metallic). I don’t know if that was because the hybrid came from Korea and regular versions came from Georgia. But regardless, ABP wasn’t offered as an option on the website or any of the brochures. It could happen again!!

KIA has the worst marketing team of....(pick a comparison). How do you know they dropped a popular color? Because they left it out? Could they have simply forgotten about it?

If there was anyway of agreeing 1 bajillion times with this I would!!!!

Nope, we didn't get Panthera Metal. I ordered it, was told 3 hours after the order was placed Aus wasn't getting it - order changed to DCB next day pushing the delivery date out by 6 weeks....

Well, fellow lobbyists, we can take the picture below with a large grain of salt, but maybe there is movement...... or maybe there is just more confusion. This is taken from a Facebook post earlier today in the Stinger GT Owners group:
