So I had my LSD replaced around 10k miles because of very bad vibrations from the rear when making a turn. I had no issues once replaced. About 8k miles later same issue. It’s going to the dealer Monday for what I am sure will now be my 3rd LSD. Am I unlucky or do you all think there is something with the car causing the LSD to go bad? I had no mods on the car when the first LSD went bad. The only mods I have now are Eibach pro springs, subframe collars, Stillen intake and SSR midpipes.

Has anyone else had these issues? Anything I can do to stop this from happening in the future? Or did I just get 2 bad LSDs? Would the LSD brace from Burger motorsports help with this? @Terry@BMS

I am not carving canyons, racing, or driving the car particularly hard.

Maybe a 60's throw back was tampering with your LSD? :D.
Ps. Good luck it should be Kia's issue. Maybe say if it happens again I'll want a new vehicle. Lemon laws etc??

Maybe wrong tire / rims combination? That will kill the differential quickly.

google:
"wrong tires rims mechanicals problems at the differential"

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
A number of Stingers have had diff issues - Kia's response has been to replace the fluid with a different grade, and if that doesn't solve it, to replace the diff entirely.

Same size tires on the car. No change there. Maybe just bad luck with having two go bad.

Yeah... already went through that with Kia.

So the dealer agreed the LSD was overly noisy and the cracked it open to inspect it. Everything was intact and working fine. So the dealer got some Mopar LSD additive to quiet it down. Worked like a charm. My LSD is now silent with no more obnoxious whining from the rear of my car.

Here we go again ... 3d time it’s in for a LSD.
Squealing louder than the last 3.

also replacing the rotors.

Man! Ya'll are having a hard time. Wish ya'll the best of luck in resolving your problems. Let them keep it for 30 days, then hire a lemon law lawyer.

Get the Mopar LSD lubricant and have them put it in. You’ll be as good as new.

I'm starting to get heavy vibration from mine while reversing under low throttle.
