air to water isn't inherently better than air to air. And vice versa. They're just different.

I'm not a huge car guy, but I understand the many differences of each type of "system". This right here...is the answer. It all depends on what you are attempting to do and what you are attempting to do it with. Almost everything has it's positives and negatives...or differences. In the end, it all depends on you.
