I'll straight up tell you. Don't use their car wash. It is ass. Not only is it bad for your paint and rough even for an automatic car wash, it doesn't clean the front or back of the Stinger basically at all. You will leave with a dirty hodge podge car.

Great find. I can't recall another US buyer pulling a Canadian Stinger across the border.

I wouldn't want to "see" that PPF line across my hood every time I washed my car or even looked at it. Get PPF back to the rear edge, and wrap the film around that edge (in case you end up in Oregon and some maroon of a gas station attendant yanks your wiper back to clean your windshield; ask me how I know).

I've got it on another of my cars and was on my AMG, didn't bother me too much, but still have time to reconsider.

Sounds good, the commons parking garage is a great place to work on the car for badging, etc. Well lit, dry and smooth. I've used one of the others that has a locker room in it when doing more mechanical things.

Currently have done the following:

• Hood - Rebadge
• Hatch - Rebadge
• Wheels - Rebadge
• Steering wheel - Rebadge
• Door striker covers

Upcoming:

• Blue LED Surface Moving Door Scuff Plates
• Kia Stinger Sequential LED Bumper Reflector Lights
• Protective film to prevent rock chips
• Tinting front windshield

I'm considering performance mods, but don't want to void the warranty.

Back on the topic of Lee Johnson, my wife and I also bought a used car there, non-Kia, again the process was without issue. The only caveat was that I wanted it to have an inspection by an independent 3rd party mechanic. As my mechanic did not have an opening for a number of days, we bought the car and had in writing the ability to return it if something was found to be wrong.

Unfortunately, our mechanic did find an indicator of a potential major issue. The only way to verify/dispel the issue would have cost too much money. The return process was as smooth as the purchase. I definitely do not have reservations about buying from this dealer.

Swung by there earlier in the week, trying to get my wife to get a Stinger. She liked it a lot, but for her it has 2 too many doors. They were able to source some GT2's if we were looking for one. So if you are interested talk to Jesse.

That's my guess, they did not have the GT2 at their dealership.

My initial understanding was that they only source GT2s when a dealership gives up. Turns out, here in Socal, a dealership said they ran out of the trim I wanted and was going to transport (or source in this case) from another dealer so that I can sign with them. Said it would take less than 24 hours.

I wish I had known this before I drove 1300 miles to California lol. Would have definitely hit up Lee Johnson. However, to be fair, one individual (Alex Lee) contacted me to which I replied saying that they don't have any GT2 AWD left. No response after that....
