LED lights worse than Halogen?

I find the headlights on my 22 GT-Line to be really good I lowered my car and had to readjust them I accidentally set them too high and was annoying traffic far in front of me so I had to turn them back down a little bit but to me they're very bright

22GT1 has the same lights. I experience lights to be not very effective with oncomming traffic or during evening times (during sunset). My previous vehicle was bmw where the lights are very bright even when oncoming traffic. For some reason GT1 headlights has some fog, it’s even worse whenif rains and the visibility is reduced.

Was thinking to get gt2 lights, but i don’t think it works for GT1. since gt2 has movable lights with steering.

Could you show what low and high beams look like at night? I’ve seen minimal but conflicting reviews on the headlights.

I much prefer the low beam of reflector LEDs on our '23 GT-Line to the low beam of the halogen projectors on our '19 Base model. Sure there are a few slightly uneven spots but mostly the LED reflectors do a great job at casting a wide pattern across the front.

Hi-beam are about equally bad on both cars. They point mostly up at the tree tops, which I suppose is meant to illuminate the overhead road signs, but that really should've been of secondary importance. The #1 priority of hi-beams should be to light up dead ahead at a distance.

I actually bought a set of GT2 LED headlights to replace the halogens. It has been on the docket for a while now. Just haven't gotten around to it, being busy with work/mods that needed done. I expect the low beam on those to be excellent, but I am more curious to see how the hi beam compares to the other 2 Stinger headlight types.

If you get this done, please let us know how it worked out and what else is involved (resistors, etc). I always assumed GT2 headlights with the light-bending feature would be problematic to install in a GT-Line, so I've been looking at 18-21 GT1 headlights instead.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

For sure. I think a few retrofits have been done already. You do need DC buck converters for the main power line and load resistors for the turn signals, both easily available cheap from Amazon. The dynamic feature will just remain dormant in the parked position, so shouldn't be a problem. Vertical aiming can still be manually adjusted.

I actually already trial fitted and test fired them. At the time I haven't ordered the headlight protective film, so I didn't go through with the install. With the way the halogen headlights lens have weathered, I definitely wanted to have PF on the expensive LEDs.
