LED Air Vents

My install is still in progress but I followed a FB group post and trimmed two of the harness connectors so they would plug directly into the LED strip and the cars power source. I’ll have photos soon. This allows you to use the cars settings to control the colour rather than the Bluetooth device.

Any updates on the wiring? I would like for the vents to match and change color with the car’s setup. I dislike using the app.

Yeah, see post #16 of this thread. I posted my detailed DIY link there and it contains steps on how to wire it to the car's existing wiring harness so that you don't have to use the bluetooth connection.

I recently saw a picture on Instagram of someone doing the rear vents as well. It never occurred to me that when the mod is done at the front that the vents in the back won't match. Better hope the rear passengers don't notice or we'll have to order another set and do them all.

I don't think it's worth the effort to do the rears. From what i've seen it's pretty involved and you don't really notice them unless you're sitting in the back. As that's usually reserved for my kids, I could care less!
