Lebra front end car mask

Has anyone used them before? Have been thinking about getting one but I am worried about it rubbing the paint.

Sorry, maybe a very stupid question, but what is this for? I understand it protects the car front end, but in my opinion looks pretty bad (no offense). Does it have other "functions" that I am not aware and could justify its use?

Hopefully this is only used temporarily for track days or areas of known issues??

My assumption is that the material is rather thick and thus prevents chipping from debris...lots of this on track days or people use that blue tape

You may want to take a page out of the aviation handbook: Think redundancy. For daily driving, have PPF applied to the front end and for situations where you could reasonably expect major "rock slides", but a bra on....
The PPF would likely protect the paint from chafe ("self-healing"), the bra from "major" risks. It certainly does not improve the looks but is probably practical in the outback.

That works great as a temporary protection solution (road trips, etc). For a daily driven vehicle it will be nightmare on the paint.

I have had a Car Bra made especially for a 1989 Nissan Skyline GTS Silhouette R31 which i once owned ( Aussie members should remember that model Skyline ) Yes it does prevent stone chips, but dirt and dust collects around the edges and underneath the bra, can leave minor marks and dirty lines, but unfortunately covers the natural beauty of the cars front end, and don't have it fitted in the rain, not a good idea.
