Leather cracking on steering wheel

my dealer scratched my steering wheel ( who knows how ?? ) and they replaced it from a car in the showroom
But keep in mind your dealer is slooooowly upgrading you to a MY19

Any good suggestions for that? The rubber one posted earlier in the topic looks terrible. I'd still want it to be leather / fake leather.
How about this one? The red piping goes nicely with HC red. Described as being leather. $27 shipped. I like it because it looks a little more conservative than some of the ones that have bolder red accents. Perforations closely resemble Stinger steering wheel too. The only negative is that since the Stinger steering wheel is already fairly girthy, the additional thickness with this cover takes some getting used to.

Best of all, anyone can install it! (if judged by at least one of their reviews they are missing out on some sales due to the following comment):

according to the seller...

"EASY TO INSTALL: You don't worry about the installation even if you are a women, because it is easy to operate. Put it in the sun for 20 minutes first, installation requires some muscle, then it is perfect"

That should not be necessary..

But if it helps keep the leather from cracking, why wouldn't you do it? I use leather cleaner and conditioner on my car every time I detail the car and I do it because I want my leather to stay looking good in the future

let me see those nails !!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
To follow up my cracking leather on steering wheel issue; when I took my car in for its' last service I mentioned the wheel cracking weirdly. As a result (they forgot to tell me at that time) they ordered a new steering wheel and now it has arrived. So it is getting changed soon :)

Because most leather in modern cars is sealed and painted. Youre just putting conditioner on top and none of it is actually soaking in or conditioning anything.
