Lap3 ECU tune

We are in Q1 now, so I guess the release is imminent. Sounds like they just got the capability and are using their current customers that are interested to get feedback. At the same time, probably working on different tune levels.

For those that have the tune, it would be great to hear more comments and even some performance numbers.

  1. How much boost is LC making?
  2. What is the LC rpm?
  3. Are snap, crackle and pops optional?
  4. What are the dyno numbers?
  5. What are the 0-60, 5-60, 1/4 mile times?
  6. What is the cost?
  7. More video of some runs and driving around?
1. Boost hasn't changed, the torque limiters that the car usually has have been decreased, and normally 1st gear boost is limited but now that's changed.
2. Same as stock
3. Optional
4. No one in the states have dynoed yet but in Korea it ranges 460-490 rear wheel power depending on exhaust set up
5. In the works by others (I don't have a draggy)
6. TBA
7. Soon

Page is up!

Lap3 ECU tune

Definitely interested in the Stage 2.5 as I have a separate snow meth kit so shouldn't be a problem, just want to see more real world results and reviews.

Real world results and real world reviews will eventually happen but there are only a handful of us that have it right now; we all just received it last week and doing runs during winter is scarce until some people in the west coast or non cold states get it lol I can tell you that just with pro tuner we were already hitting high 11s and the ecu has less torque restrictions on launch control and does not limit boost in the first few gears like oem ecu does so you pretty much see full boost in every gear.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Guys the website is active with power numbers!!

I completely dropped off the map..... excited to see something new that may be worth dropping $$ on

For everyone who's been waiting

1. Lc can now make 6psi (option available)
2. Snap crackle pop available.
3. Here is a draggy only using 1psi at launch. Full weight, oem 19" wheels, stock fmic, astless downpipe, oem midpipe, borla catback, methanol.
4. TCU tune will be available soon
5. And absolutely NO issues or needing to send ecu back and forth.

What does the TCU tune adjust? Is it more $$?

Are they working on any plans for E85 mixing instead of methanol? I'm mixing my own E30 with jb4 map3. No plans on doing methanol.

No. E85 support is nonexistent. You can use e30 right now which is about 4gal.

How much power is this tune running to achieve this time?

That trap is sweet, it starting to get interesting.

Just to be clear, this was on the Stage 2.5 tune with Meth and TCU tune but only 1psi launch?

AWD car?

What CC nozzle and meth/water ratio was used for this?

No tcu tune on this, just brake snip for now. And yeah it's the 2.5 meth tune, awd, nozzle size is the 640cc from Devils Own. Lap3 recommends at least 80% meth.

Is the TCU tune just to build boost off the line or are there any other benefits?

Stage 1 is simply for boost
Stage 2 which isn't out yet and requires stage 1, increases psi launch further, and gives faster and stronger shifts.

I can hear torque converters blowing already :)

Don't abuse the car and you won't break anything. Get a built transmission if you're scared lol These are serious modifications so user error is just that, user error lol
