My experience started bad and ended good. I started with a heavy accent older Russian lady who had a very difficult time just listening to what I wanted. I reached out to the dealership and simply asked for a salesperson. I got Tamara and at first I could barely understand her English but I tried to work through it because it seemed she was trying her best. I told her I saw a Stinger GT (not 1 or 2) in all red. No glass top since it was a regular GT. I saw it was priced at an unbelievably $30,500K after I qualified for basically rebates where MSRP was $40,500K. I told Tamara, “I can be there tomorrow to look at and probably purchase that Red GT.” The next day comes and the car literally had DISAPPEARED from the website. I call and can’t get ahold of Tamara and then email her and still, nothing. She knew I was to meet her later so I went in as planned looking for the car before she even knew it was there and I confirmed the car had sold the night before. That was never communicated to me and I was pissed at that point. I could have avoided making the trip but unbeknownst to me, there was a GT1 with all the bells and whistles and I ended up really being glad that I found a Red GT1 with black leather interior. When Tamara finally met with me and we looked at the GT1 I asked what the best price was. She sat me down with the British speaking fuckhead that pretended he was glad I was there but he was an uptight prick that would have been better suited to work at a Mercedes or Porsche dealership. Anyways lol, the dude told me “oh because of the VIN and the color you can’t finance with Kia and get an extra $2000 off like a white or a black one. I laughed and said, that’s the silliest thing I’ve ever heard and he blamed Kia saying it was their fault. I said I don’t care who’s fault it is I’m not paying that much so I said drop the destination charge and I’ll buy it, or I will be heading back home with my truck I brought in to trade. He wouldn’t budge. I drove home and wrote an email to the GM. Got an email the next day from Jay the GM and he said they would honor my request because Kia approved it haha. Anyways I went back but said in no way would I work with Tamara or the British Fuckhead. I got Jonathan Hernandez and he was top notch. The finance guy also gave me a good price on warranty protection extended out to 125k for the whole car too. At the end of the day I ended up getting top trade for my truck and $37,982 for my GT1 and at $49,9K MSRP I felt pleased with the result.
