I thought he looked fast for stock but his mods where hiding off to the side. Intakes and Catback.
You should borrow his and try a dual dragy run and see if they match to dispel any doubts on your unicorn fast car. Also would be interesting to see how close 2 dragys match on time and slope.

lol Ya i felt the same, but he edited to add his mods. I still think when i hit traction I can get that extra .23 he got from 0-30 and have 4.3 time with no tune. We will see. It going to snow this weekend so IDK if i will get any other runs in for a bit.

I just put my dragy to the test on a jb4 car and it wasn't impressive. So my dragy is good! I did wonder.

We all wish it was that simple. Here is an old run with the same 1.88 60 foot and a 1 mph higher trap and i ran 12.06. Apply the Brancky logic to that one.
I'm all for Get Stung having a great time but people with jb4s and the same or more mods are running much slower times.

Brancky logic:
His 1/8 ET is 0.05 seconds faster than yours (and 1MPH faster)
His 330ft is 0.04 seconds faster than yours.

These times would indicate he had a slightly better launch which would lead to a slightly better ET. There's no trickery here, a better launch gets you a better ET.

Also regarding the slower times - those were in hotter weather which will obviously hurt times on a turbo car. Also, the tune version may come into play here.

my 1/8 mile is quicker 7.77, now ya know
more mods than me, like what intakes? intercooler? blow offs? They dont give ya much if anything in this climate.
Other variables, Temp and elevation have you considered those? Anyhow I'll just keep sharing the runs and you keep bumping me up the ladder.

I was uphill a bit too lol. Going downhill i dont think I will get any traction. I may try to find a 1% slope to get the traction i need.

Will do. I like fast times with few mods. That was an old run. I was trying to find my slowest run with a 1.88 to show Branckys "60 foot means everything" statement was overly simplified.
I have the fewest mods of any one in the 11.8s or 11.7s!

Let's also keep in mind Fokes. These are turbo cars and temp makes a huge difference to them.. that run was in Florida in the mid 80's

Hey since you are almost stock, can't you just run Map 0, and close the dump valve and go run a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds? If your car runs 4.4,to 4.6 you either have a unicorn or broken dragy. If it runs 4.8 to 5.1 your car is normal and your mods are working great - Congrats!
