Drag/Acceleration Kia Stinger 0-60 MPH Times

Same approach here so doesn'tt seem like any magic there

Reviewed the logs. Same thing as the last ones. JB4 maths out to a much longer time from 0-105. (13.6 corrected)

Timing is 10-15 in 1st. Ramping to 10 pounds of boost. IAT 70-73. Average everything. Launch is at 2300 rpms with 1.2 pounds of boost.

I seriously don't think the dragy is reading correctly. I think it calculates Gs based on time and distance traveled. Something is wrong either with the dragy or the connection to whatever it is reporting to. That's my opinion from the logs. You're faster everywhere on every setup.

I'd love for there to be ANY kind of indicator that would help others get faster. I just don't see one.

Just promise me you will post your drag slip no matter the result!

limp mode at end of run

Man if you ran a valid <11.9 the pitchforks would come out and your car's life would be in danger. Consider yourself lucky.

The car running okay now? A few people posted similar problems months ago (I think we were in version 4 firmware at the time). Updated firmware seemed to correct the issue for them.

P. S. Please go run a valid 11.8x. The entertainment that will provide will be through the roof!

Jesus, that 60ft!

Dragy doesn't use the G reading for anything on timing. Timing calculation is done with the 10Mhz sampling of satellites using doppler shift. Meaning how fast you are moving towards or away from multiple satellites. You guys are really stretching to disprove this. Dragys are accurate. Period. This timing is as valid as anyone else's posted. He has a monster front half, as good as anyone else's. Not sure what the need for the CSI shit is.

I understand the first part. I am saying it uses distance traveled and time calculations to get the Gs. It does not have a built in accelerometer. I originally thought the Gs would disprove any theory that the dragy was at fault, but researched and every source I could find said it didn't have an accelerometer, so those numbers are based off of the same thing everything else is.

I'm not stretching anything. I already did the math in my previous post in the 1/4 mile thread, and this has the same issue. JB4 is not meshing with Dragy... I asked for anyone else that had JB4s to throw some logs out so we could see if that indicates anything, and got no takers. Mine match perfectly. I don't want to be a drag, so I'll just not comment on this anymore. I figured some people would be interested!

Took 4 runs today, guess it wasnt meant to be.
Non valid 11.87, 11.95, 11.96 and a valid 12.05
all on map7. It's not going into limp mode. Thought maybe it was at first. But at exactly 115 I lose power and then it comes back. Dont think it effects et at that point of the run.

After looking at the logs 11.87 was map 5.**

Car and driver tested the AWD model at 4.4 seconds to 60 and surely this was not done at ~25 degrees F. 4.33 seconds is not crazy given the air density & temperature.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that 4.4s 0-60 was a RWD w/ LSD...

You probably got the baby over boost that chops throttle to 10-30% range and blows off all your boost for a 3-4 second "time out" then wakes back up. No CEL and no restart needed.
Thanks for doing the catback only tests.

Seems stock AWDs run about 5.0 0-60 and 13.0 1/4 mile is about the best you typically see. Aside from Get Stung i saw one AWD hit high 12.9s.

With a 11.8 we will be forced to perform an autopsy on the car! ;)
