Will do. STI is 305 HP and 290lb-ft and weighs about 600lbs less. But don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the stinger. I’m very pleasantly surprised that Kia has a vehicle like this. I’ve also been looking at BMW 440i M performance which is similarly priced (my friend just purchased one for around $50k). I’ve done a lot of research, watched and read a lot of reviews so I’m looking forward to doing a test drive.
Sorry should have been $43900 after discounts. I took a finance rate of 2.99% to get $4k off. Then I got a dealer discount of $2600 on top. Total paid after taxes and freight was $51846. I also bought the 84mth/200km warranty which was offset by my trade.
I had dealers tell me the same BS. If they don't want to deal walk away. As I mentioned dealer said they made $650 on the car.
I financed for 8yrs, though i flipped the loan to my home line of credit for a lower rate a couple weeks later once the paper work was filed. My deal may have been helped out because of the initial Covid lock down that had put a damper on sales for dealers. Right now it doesn't look like Kia Canada has any deals on Stingers, so it's up to the dealer, and they probably don't want to give up much.

The cost of that loan would far exceed the 4000 they gave you for taking it. You were smart to flip the higher interest to you LOC. timing is always important. I managed to play several dealers off of one another which motivated two of them to come down in cost. One even told me to buy from Brampton as he couldn’t or wouldn’t match their price. I was helped by the car having been on their lot for a few months.

After my down payment even with the 2.99% my interest would have been just over the $4k they discounted. I could have taken 0% and not got the $4k of the top. Since I plan on making extras payments yearly, my total interest paid should come in under the discount give. Also if I am to trade in down the road, it benefits me to because my residual is less. I don't plan on trading in though so that point was mute.
Yes listen to everyone else, I was in a similar boat and almost bought a 2019 with only like 200km on it but it had used car rates going for it. Just try and talk to a sales guy and see the numbers they can bring the 2020 down. I was shopping for a 2019 gt non limited and ended up buying a 2020...

If I can’t get the deal I’m looking for I’ll just wait until next month and see what comes up. If nothing good next month, the month after and so on. I’d like to get it now but only if the deal is right.

If you’d like, pm me your email address. I scan you my deal. I’ll edit out my name and address but you can present it to other dealers and have them do better. I think the deals are going to be coming in at the end of this month when they introduce the 2022 car at the virtual Canadian Auto Show. Good luck.
I purchased my 2019 GT Limited 20th Anniversary Edition from Kia Orangeville last year. I asked them to remove the hood wrap and they were happy to do it. Too bad I was too ecstatic about getting the car that I didn’t see what a terrible job they did completely removing the wrap... I tried to reach out to them for a response but they since then ignored me. I don’t feel like driving over an hour to see them anymore so I just let it go. Scott the salesman is nice and friendly though.

Picked up my Stinger yesterday from Kia Milton. 1st impressions are wow, incredible and love it. I put on some really nice CRW GT1 alloy wheels and Michelin X-ice snow tires and tinted. I actually didn’t realize that it was already tinted until today but decided to go ahead with it as I wanted darker. Really happy with the look with these changes so far. Next I plan on wrapping hood, black out stock rims, cold air intake, rebadging hood and hatch as well as steering wheel.

Thanks I’m really happy with them. After pricing around I ended up buying from Canadian tire online so wasn’t sure how they’d turn out. And thanks for all your help!

Reply. I assume you got a good price or you wouldn’t have bought it. Well done again. Hopefully this snow will dissipate quickly and you can light it up.
