K5 Spoiler?

Hi, has anyone tried or know if the spoiler from the K5 would fit the Stinger? I like them, and have not been able to find any aftermarket ones that look the same....just a small, subtle enhancement/lift in the back. Most aftermarket spoilers are higher, or stick out past the trunk lid, etc.

Lol, ok so 42 views and no replies. My guess is noone has tried this...so does anyone know of a lip spoiler like the K5 has?

If you are looking for a more minimal design there are definitely some options out there but a direct K5 spoiler swap would not work.

A good option for a spoiler would be something like the M&S Type-A Trunk Spoiler: (FOUND HERE)

I tried to look at it but it took me to a type G which is exactly what I do not want. Could not find the type A.

Thanks, but same issue. Sticks up/out too much. Do not understand why we cannot get a simple lip spoiler...Honda, BMW, Infiniti, Mercedes, Mazda, etc, all have them...even the K5 does!

Here's some pictures of the M&S Type A spoiler. Pretty solid product, though the adhesive is not the best - would recommend installing on a hot day if possible.

Thanks, i think it blends in more on your blue than it would my white, and really stick out. like your side skirts btw. car looks nice.

The m&s type g IS a simple lip spoiler. It's not a huge whale tail or some huge racer wing, it's subtle, yet tasteful. You might not like it but I think it's the best option out there.

Actually it's super subtle and is the most low profile of M&S spoiler offerings. The Type G and Type S are much more popular, but are more aggressive

I'd recommend painting it white if you truly want super minimalistic - I was actually contemplating paint matching it blue, but I rather like the contrast

Oh, I see now. I wouldn't even call that a spoiler lol. Probably not much of a market for that, it's pretty miniscule.

Exactly...to each their own I suppose. I will probably end up with the g/s one, but was really hoping to find an alternative, like that one on the k5 just fitting on the Stinger.

Hey, did you guys get the matte black or the painted gloss black? Cannot really tell from pics, and they only have pics of the matte black on their site. Thinking gloss black might look better on my snow white pearl, no?

Yeah, I mean regardless you should paint it gloss black or body color IMO. Allows you to ceramic coat or wax it for long term longevitg

I have a 23 K5 Gt and a 19 Stinger GT2 and looking at the two side by side, I don't think the curve is the same to get that to fit properly. I could be wrong.
