Nope, it was both the factory wheels and OEM tyres. They even had a Michelin rep come out to confirm the tyres were part of the issue.Saw it was the actual factory wheels and not the tyres am i correct?

Quite unusual. Good to see you’re back on the road now.Nope, it was both the factory wheels and OEM tyres. They even had a Michelin rep come out to confirm the tyres were part of the issue.
Great to see them man up. Enjoy the smooth drives.Nope, it was both the factory wheels and OEM tyres. They even had a Michelin rep come out to confirm the tyres were part of the issue.
That's just nuts. And to have that many reps investigate and come to a consensus on what the causes are and replace not just a wheel or a tire, but ALL FOUR of each, is incredible. What are the chances? Somebody loves you.Nope, it was both the factory wheels and OEM tyres. They even had a Michelin rep come out to confirm the tyres were part of the issue.
I must say, I was lucky to have an absolute legend of a service adviser who went above and beyond. I wish they were all like that!.That's just nuts. Thinking its a problem with the front wheels and/or tyres (PS4), I bought a set of second hand stringer 19 OEM wheels of someone. They are in great condition. For the front two 19x8.0 wheels, this morning I went and put brand new ContiContactSport5 225/40/19s on it. Put them on the car. Got a front wheel alignment done. Driving home, the vibration is still there.
I cant seem to find any tyre shops that do road balancing in Sydney. Google has not been useful at all. I will keep trying.
In the mean time, I have booked a dealer and let's see what they are going to say.
I've not heard of that. Can you please explain the difference? This could be unrelated but I learned something new this week: Staggered wheels have a different balancing process than squared wheels.
I had intermittent vibrating at higher speeds and went to the dealer—they said the tire shop balanced the wheels but for squared set up not staggered. They rebalanced the rear wheels and now it’s like being on rails

This is good to know, I am getting my rears road forced tomorrow and will bring this up.I cannot. The last time I used a tire balance machine it was 2003 my man. But I can tell you what went down
I had new tires mounted and it was done by the recommended Tirerack.com service provider. They felt great then I took a small road trip and hit some higher speeds than I usually do and there was a pulsating vibration. I took it to the dealer (fairfax kia NOVA) and asked them to check the wheel balance during an oil change. I got a call from the service rep who said that the wheels were balanced but as if for non-staggered setup so the rear wheels had to be rebalanced and everything was good to go for pickup

Someone's feeding you BS.
I think all it needed was a proper balance. That would be the service representative Benjamin at Fairfax KIA in Fairfax, Northern Virginia. Thats what he said over voicemail and again in person when I picked up the car. I can see where they removed the previously installed weights and installed new ones on the rear wheels. I am not an engineer but the car does handle like its on rails now with no vibration issues all the way through the speedometer
