The problem I can see with that will be condensation and moisture in the box.

Ask for "liquid electrical tape" its easier to find and work well.

Never been to Bahrain, but I don't think you have too much trouble with moisture & condensation at your location.

Tried to get the plasti dip and unfortunately wasn’t able to find any. Importing this stuff internationally via air is impossible.

had to find another solution, took a paper clip plastic box, tapped a hole and added a rubber seal and some silicone. Hopefully this will work.

Well, I guess I'm in the minority here because I think that little box is sweet! You've got some good rubber grommets in there, too, so I bet you'll be good with the solution you've already come up with.
