I managed to hit a curb parking the car last week and ended up with some curb rash on the black plastic lip that sits under the front bumper.

The LIP is super cheap to buy as a spare part at $31 AUD but the dealer wants $175 for fitting.

Can anyone advise on DIY replacement?

lip.webp I'm hoping it's fairly simple not requiring the entire bumper to come off??

I have my bumper off right now installing Big Mouth snorkels and that splitter above is attached to the bumper from the inside so you definitely will need to remove it. Bumper removal is very simply though, the easiest i've attempted.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It's like looking at what Providence spared me last week: the cement barrier down the middle of the highway was older and thus smaller, and only the undercarriage panels got scraped and torn. Only one INCH of difference spelled a huge difference in expense and anguish.

After that happened, I was noticing how many other TALLER cement barriers there are in the Torrance and Redondo Beach area. If I had hit one of those, not only would I have torn apart my front splitter, but also my bumper and the lower part of my radiator and the engine behind.
