How to install OEM Wireless Charger on your Stinger

Sorry my friend, been on the road a bit and not on the forum. I’m sure you have your kit installed by now. If not, let me know. I’m out to New Orleans Tues thru Saturday, but available next week.
Hey Neill, no worries. I was able to install it myself. Just had to build my confidence a bit, but it's all good. It wasn't as difficult as it looked.

Well done! FYI, I’ve done quite a bit of add on work, from rear reflector LEDs to exhaust and intake. Let me know if you plan to do anything else.

Thanks! I appreciate it. What intake do you have on yours?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Nice! I'm actually thinking of getting it too. Did you have any fitment issues? I heard one of the clamps just needs to be replaced by a smaller one, but not sure if there were any other fitment issues beyond that.
I had none, but you must be very careful when working with the plastic parts, which have the potential to break if over torqued.

Very helpful thread. Just finished installing mine. Less painful than I thought. And now that I’m done wireless charging doesn’t work. It will recognize it in the menu and everything else works just no charging. I even took the phone cover off and even the rubber pad in the tray. Nothing. Everything is connected. Any ideas?

You’ve turned the phone in both directions? I’m thinking the sensor and coil aren’t aligning. I mean N and S not over, the back has to be down. Sigh. Also you’ve tested the iPhone on a known working Qi charging pad?

Also, do you have access to another Qi enabled phone, any brand?

Gents. Is working. With the cover and the pad. In my exitment and ignorance did not know it doesn’t work with the door open lol.

Wow, you mean you have to slide the cover closed for it to start charging? That’s a horrible design. The iPhone is going to get very hot.

No sir. I mean you have to have the car door closed

Just did a 25 minute swap to stock on the old car and am about to tackle the install again on the new one. Super easy to complete... Found you only need to remove the three bolts holding the console down on the gt1 and lower models. Makes it a breeze.

I am happy I found this! I just got my Stinger and hate that it didn’t have this like my other car. Ordered and gonna tackle soon as it comes in! I bought 2 Stingers, one for me and one for the spouse, so we will see if I can get away with doing stuff on mine only lol

Might as well do the Korean spec center console (with cup holder cover) at the same time... since you pull it out anyway!
