How To install aftermarket DRLs

How did you connect them? I had the same problem with the wires being different colors.
I wired them basic the same the ones in this picture but since I didnt have a the red wire, I wired the white wire to the to the yellow wire under the red wire. So basicly it was DRL Black, Red, White to Headlights Black, Orange, Yellow. And basically the same to the other side, just use the wire that are in the same position as the ones of the picture, but is u dont have a wire where the red wire is shown us the one under it. Hope this helps.

big question is : Is it really worth over $200USD ... :)

To me it was worth it because it give the car a different look and I had the rear reflectors light installed too.

I did do the rear reflector last week - LOVE IT!

I just wish the DRL would be more like a fog light type of thing

I might be a bit biased, but I absolutely think it's worth it. These things are awesome, and we have sold over 30 sets of them already!

can you post a picture?

I just guided a fellow stinger owner to install an illuminated front emblem as well as rear stinger light. If anyone on this thread wants to know which wire is specifically for the DRLs, it's the solid yellow wire. If I was installing, I'd prefer to use that yellow wire so it's tied directly with the rest of the DRLs (rather than always on). Extra credit - if anyone wants to install the illuminated stinger logo in the back, tie into the green and black wire for running lights and brown for brake light - enjoy

Hey guys. Just wondering? I am having a very hard time taking off the vent... i took the bumper off and took the screws off attached to the vent but I just can’t take it off... any tips?

CORRECTION: i was able to pull it off with brute strength...

They definitely don't match exactly but they are close looking in colour. You can tell there's a difference but they still look good I think. I installed mine in August 2018 and still working fine no issues.

Don't know how I missed your reply until now, but thanks for getting back to me! Anyway, good to know, I may have to pick some of these up myself

Hello, I have recently bought a 2018 Kia Stinger Premium. Am I able to add these DRl's to it?
Thank you in advance.

Welcome, you should join the forum, its free and there is lots if great information about the 2.0 Premium you have.

The Premium has a different front vent shape than the GT. However there is DRL currently being designed specifically for the 2.0 crowd.

Make sure you become a member to stay update with the updates on it.

Thanks for the install info. When I just got the DRL they have changed the color on the DRL to Grey instead of Black; and Violet instead of Red. White is still white.

Do they make replacements for these as both of mine are not working properly? The driver side one fades in and out and the passenger side light only half or it works. Very frustrating as it looks bad. I don’t want to have to buy a whole new set if the lights can be replaced. Hopefully the new ones last longer than year. HELP

Are these better/different than the ones sold at the forum store? I heard those don't work very well.
That’s what I wanna know because I have the ones from the forum store and they are trash. One light doesn’t work at all and the other only the top half of it lights up. I don’t wanna pay another $300+ for it not to last a year.

From Chis "These are not sold at any store right now, they will be but direct through Rob and I for now"

Guys these are 100000% times better and way more reliable than what is available currently elsewhere. The CK71 DRLs, unlike the other option, DO have a warranty and are a whole lot brighter, the CK71 DRLs are actually functional and help with visibility at night, while adding a better look to te front of the Stinger.
The CK71 DRLs are made to order and are 100% hand made to ensure quality and durability.

Does anyone know what needs to be spliced on the 22 GT1? The given instructions don't work since I seem to be missing the orange wire in the back.

Send me an email and we can chat, I’ll want photos of your wires, it’s possible 22 changed wiring a bit.
Happy to help
Chris
