How to Connect and Use Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

FYI, there is a product called CarPlay2Air that makes your iPhone carplay wireless. It is a dongle that plugs into the USB port. It uses bluetooth to connect to your phone initially for setup and switching the phone to a dedicated WiFi (hosted by the CarPlay2Air dongle). I had one in my Optima and it worked pretty well. I haven't gotten a new one yet for the Stinger. Get it here.

I’m using the Carlinkit brand, it also works great.

Would you mind providing the link to the product you purchased? I have been looking at this extensively and there are several of them available on amazon, including the Car2Play.com option. Also, did you have to go into engineering mode on your headunit and install a .APK file for this to work...

Indiegogo also has a campaign going for android auto. The part is called AAWireless, literally just a small box that contains a wifi antenna and some code. I'm still waiting on mine since they are running into supply issues, but I've seen quite a few videos of the product. Not as clean as a built in one since it takes about a minute for the thing to boot up.

Does anyone happen to have any information on if the 22 stinger will have wireless AA in the future? I tried looking for information about this but there doesn't seem to be much. I'm hoping it's just an update since the car does have their UVO functions.
