How much you think Carmax will give me?

I did it all online, I didn't state that it was modified. I did it around 6 months ago, just out of curiosity. I think it may be related to the color. I was surprised because at the time the KBB value was around $29K. Now the trade in value is around $21,820 - $23,631. I'm pretty surprised that it is so low..lol That would mean that it went from 41k->21k or if you consider the 5k incentive from 36k->21k.

I would expect CarMax offer will be even lower. As such I don't plan on selling my car.

Used vehicle prices are going to tank. Demand is down across the board. New cars were still being made and shipped, but are no longer being sold. Manufacturers are going to have huge incentives. There's talk of another "cash for clunkers" incentive to help stimulate the car industry again.

On the Stinger vs GS350 (another thread) 2slo4u stated that it took him 6 months to sell his GS350 and he ended up getting not much more than what CarMax had offered (usually can get a fair bit more than CarMax in a private sale), and that the GS was the biggest financial hit he had ever took on an auto purchase.

W/ the upcoming demise of the GS, wouldn't be surprised if the Stinger GT holds onto its value better (think there are larger pool of buyers looking for a used Stinger GT than there are for a used GS350 these days).

Carmax is shit. people don’t buy used stingers because there aren’t any there.consider your options. don’t sell till you get a better. deal
