My biggest fear is that the resell value of these Stingers is not high enough if you took the zero percent financing or if you rolled money into the loan. GAP insurance probably would be a good idea with this car but it was not offered to me when I bought mine and now I can’t find any place that offers it.

Your insurance company should offer gap insurance or where it is financed or leased. I found my insurance company was the best price.

I didn't roll in any negative equity and was able to get the 0.9% for 66 months. My current payoff is $38k for my 2019 GT2. I think I'm good if it ended up getting totaled.

My '18 gt2 replaced an 04 olds alero. Insurance went from around $1800 to $2000 year (Stinger, '17 F-Pace, '04 Crossfire) but that also includes collision coverage on the Stinger which i didn't carry on the alero.

I doubt being an iihs safety pick has much of an effect on lowering premiums. In some cases, all the safety tech is more expensive to insure since it is more expensive to repair.

I have State Farm and I was paying $589 every 6 months for my Acura RDX and it went up to $720 every 6 months. $0 deductible for comprehensive and $100 deductible for collision. I did get a speeding ticket in the Acura 2 months ago so we will see what happens when it comes time for renewal.

Looks like a winner to me. Hail: speaking of: I saw a black sporty car at Costco this week getting gas, and it looked like it had had a case of small pox; the worst dented mess I ever remember seeing. That insurance would be a welcome advantage.

Just added my 2019 GT2 to my State Farm policy and its costing me $170 per month with $50 comprehensive deductible and $1,000 collision deductible and $250k/$500k/$100k liability limits and $100k/$300k/$50k uninsured motor limits.

This is a policy with four autos, home insurance, and an umbrella policy.

the change to my Geico policy is still new but if I read this correctly, my insurance increased by approx ~$90/month. Deleting 2015 Corolla, adding 2019 Kia Stinger GT2 (VIN still not recognized for some reason...)

Lol similar situation here. We went from insuring a 93 Isuzu Rodeo and an 02 WRX and a camper and a couple seadoos for around $150 a month to the Stinger being $144 a month by itself
