Well if in Korea you can get Gyeon etc cheap, then go for it, they're apparently quite good, although I generally am wary of hype brands with tons of marketing behind ... Gyeon has a very well made marketing.

Foamcannons in korean Car wash booths? Interesting ... I never saw this anywhere, all you get is the usual brush.

Yes, we do. There are also those brush that dispenses thick foam shampoo also.

I used to use Sonax stuff when I was living in Germany but when I got here, they are like triple the price of comparable products from Carpro and Fireball. Gyeon is still expensive here, I don't know why. They are definitely a very hyped up brand. I even think they reversed-engineered products off Carpro, but that's controversial.

The king of hype here is Swissvax. about 300 dollars for a pair of Swissvax buckets with wheels.

The brush I avoid .... at least on new cars I own, who knows what grit and such is in there from previous users - sounds like sandpaper to me. Foam cannons would be interesting, although I never met any foam etc, that's able to get traffic film off completely, it always requires mechanical scrubbing iwth a wash mit. But foam would be interesting, if the owner allows you to do manual mitt washes after.

As for sonax: there's no point getting Sonax at way higher prices. They got great stuff, but if you can get good car pro stuff at low prices, then use that, I'm not that familiar with their prices. Aren't they the ones selling CQuartz? That's a good coating.

Swissvax is nice, but overpriced .. a ton of marketing behind it (and I say this as a Swiss person :P ). I actually bought that exactl double bucket, because I couldn't find a much cheaper trolley option here in Switzerland. Adding up the same trolley from the original maker was a similar price. It's an overpriced solution, but I liked an all plastic thing when it comes to water contact.

Yes, Carpro is famous for their CQuarts UK coatings. They are often accredited as the one that accentuated this whole ceramic/Sio2 coating revolution today.

Yes, run away from those brushes. The snow foam is usually only there to get the loose dirt off before any contact washing. The real washing starts with the contact wash I guess. It seems Swissvax's leather cleaning and caring stuff are pretty good, have you tried and would you recommend?

Dude .............really ?..........water ? ..............OMG .................you need a few winter weeks in Canada you poor thing !! water ..............geeezuuzzzz !! snow , hail , sleet , gravel , sand , rocks , ice and new Canadian drivers that have never seen snow ( let alone ever owned a car ) ..............not for the feint of heart ................or you could come to Vancouver and plant a palm tree ! bawaaaaaaa
Hilarious

@Euljiro1ga
I have not tried their leather stuff. But there's other leather stuff I rely on, like colour lock ... they're not cheap, but those products are generic leather products, for all kinds of leathers and they do nothing else, than leather, so I trust them most :)

Hilarious

Had that yesterday :) Went up the hills and ended up with a car, where the dust from the forest road was in the end baked into ice on the cars backside ... it called for a wash after, despite the minus temps atm. But the roads was pretty, and so was the top of the hills behind my house :p This is also, why I want AWD .. it's not everywhere as straight, icefree and fairly flat.

Beautiful scenery, but too cold for me. I hate it when it rains on the car...lol let alone having to deal with those conditions.

It's extremely difficult keeping our cars clean here in south Florida as well. There are always sprinklers running coming in and out of communities. This means there's always water in the streets. It's aggravating...

That’s just the beginning. Don’t forget that it rains everyday during hurricane season and we get blown away when the storms decide to grace us with their presence. Then if you live off a dirt road....well your car looks like you dressed it up in a white sheet for a Halloween contest.

Sounds like you only have a timing to solve: once dirty, bringt it out of the garage when it's raining crazy and then wait for a nice dry wind for the next sortie.

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on trying to keep my car clean. I stopped caring. Every time I wash it, it's dirty because either a sprinkler hits my car, there's a puddle because of sprinklers, or it rains. I guess this is why the inside of the car is the most important thing to me...

11th Stinger commandment is ;
“Thou shalt keep thy Stinger clean both inside and out no matter what.”
Given up on trying to keep her clean.....You heathen how can you do that? Lol
You shall have the wrath of the Kia gods upon you.

Yep, the Kia Gods are just gonna have to send Charlie’s Angels to come and do the topless car wash twice...or three times a week!!

BTW, I noticed many scratches here and there, I really wonder how they appear because I am careful. :(

Hey there @xot1 , is your Stinger Ceramic coated, because that Deep Chroma Blue is so delicate, it seems to make marks on it extremely easy, how do you dry it, with a cloth or can you blow it dry ?
