I got these on eBay so don’t know if they are current or not.cool. do you know what the packaging numbers all mean? I tried to find out on an older hot wheels thread and nobody could be definitive. I ask, because I'd like to know of HW is reissuing the Stinger. haven't seen one in stores for years.
Have you got the 2 Majorette versions, 1 in yellow & 1 in blue?Well, I should know better than to go looking on eBay for toys. I ended up with one of each Stinger color in the package - which is where they will remain for the foreseeable future. I already have all four colors laid out on a shelf in my bedroom. It's quite funny, how the price of the ceramic silver "grey" is dramatically higher than the other three colors. I saw one for over $30 plus shipping. The one I selected was $26 and free shipping. Anyone who buys one of them from Aus or the UK is going to be paying over fifty bucks with shipping.
no. too far away, and, shipping. you win first place for stinger toy collectibles.
Thanks & there is a few more.no. too far away, and, shipping. you win first place for stinger toy collectibles.
lol. I balked at $26 plus $3 tax and free shipping, for the local "grey" one. If I try and get those from Aus I'll faint.
concur. and silky silver, Ima sure @Stinger GT SS agrees. and while we're on it, Hot Wheels should turn out some other colors, like ascot and Panthera. why didn't they at least do white? but four production years isn't bad. can't complain.I find the lack of orange concerning
I’ve seen the yellow one for AU$14 & blue one for AU$9, both on eBay the exchange rate is definitely in your favour but I’m not sure on freight/postage charge…best bet would be to find a seller who has both then message them for a postage charge to the US. I also think from memory that Majorette brand is out of Europe so that could also be an alternative.lol. I balked at $26 plus $3 tax and free shipping, for the local "grey" one. thanks for the suggestion. I went on ebay and searched for the Majorette and ordered one from Poland and one from France. Much cheaper postage than Aus! Thailand, interestingly, has cheap postage too, but none of the offerings were still NIP. I also ordered a 1:34 scale red by Welly. never heard of that brand before. it is coming from Poland too, "new in box". I tried a year or two ago to outbid for a red 1:18 scale, but man, somebody really wanted that bad, and the final bid was nearly a hundred bucks above the $200 I was willing to pay.I’ve seen the yellow one for AU$14 & blue one for AU$9, both on eBay the exchange rate is definitely in your favour but I’m not sure on freight/postage charge…best bet would be to find a seller who has both then message them for a postage charge to the US. And yes a Silky Silver version would be nice, but the grey is close enough.
Well done on the Majorette acquisitions.thanks for the suggestion. I went on ebay and searched for the Majorette and ordered one from Poland and one from France. Much cheaper postage than Aus! When did that blue one come out? First time seeing it.
Last year. When did that blue one come out? First time seeing it.
Last one I saw a few months back went for like $800 USD on ebay. Good investment.I bought a 1:18 scale Korean version white with red interior in 2018 for AU$200 delivered, they are very rare now.
Wow that’s currently AU$1,210, not a bad investment at all.Last one I saw a few months back went for like $800 USD on ebay. Good investment.
The Welly 1:34 scale and Majorette Blue arrived from Poland yesterday. I teased the Welly from its box to paint the negative spaces between the "Y" spokes black. Looks much better.
The Yellow Majorette is coming from France.
