I recently installed some add w1 bov pro and when I am wot at high rpms there is a constant hissing noise and I believe it is a boost leak but I am not sure. I did install the gaskets in each one. I just want to see if y’all believe it is a boost leak Aswell. I am still new to boosted motors

So, I had the same issue... I have a set of the standard AND the pro's just chilling in a box in the garage. When you got the car to full throttle and the car shifts from 1st to 2nd, the valves open and the whoosh noise starts.... they never close fully after that through the full throttle run... sound about right? Yeah, then I asked add-w1 what the fix might be and they sent me a pic of where the top screw should be set. I set about the same and tried moving one direction or the other after multiple runs... no change. So I hate to say it but I think it could be a product issue. This is the only post other than my post where someone has said this on here about that specific manufacturers valves. I could be wrong, but if you find an answer from them or somebody else on how to make it stop, I would be curious too...

I did end up returning them. I figured it was not worth the hassle to go through with it. The stock ones sounds exactly the same for free so I didnt see a point in keeping them. Thank you for your input! It is good to hear that I am not the only one.
