Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Like roll your damn window down and be neighborly with a “what’s up... nice stinger”.

That happened to me this afternoon: same car as above (this morning), if you can believe it. There he was right in front of me for over two miles. Finally he pulled into the center lane and slowed a bit; I could tell he had finally noticed another Stinger in the rear view mirrors. As I came alongside he lowered his window and stuck a and said, "Nice looking car!" I couldn't find my passenger window button soon enough to shout a reply, but I gave him an enthusiastic back. I snapped a few pics of him as we were driving along before that "stinger siblinghood" greeting.

On Sydney TV this morning a Stinger in police livery at Goulburn Police Training Academy. I believe it's only used for advertising/recruitment purposes.

It is, it’s a sponsor car that is used by NSW Police Recruitment Branch. It’s not an operational police vehicle. There are no Stingers in use operationally with NSW Police

I don’t know about the coolest but it’s certainly the same car, there’s only 1

Just after 6:30pm tonight, Snow White pearl headed south on the Pacific Highway Lisarow heading towards Gosford. I flipped him a wave don’t know if he saw me going the other way

I just spent four nights in Carson City, NV and saw none. Maybe it was the Winter Wonderland effect that hid them from me. I would have waved and honked like a loon, totally confusing the Stinger owner, anyway. At least my rental was a new (2K miles) Hyundai Tucson AWD. It was a champ, scampering over everything. I’m afraid a Stinger AWD would have been scraping bottom a lot, especially a lowered one. It was cool knowing what all the buttons and switches did on my rental.

I got compliments on the blue color, even under all the snow crud.

Was an codger going slow in the inside lane. I was in my daily drive though Ford Festiva.

Maybe he was on a test drive..I was at GWK on Monday & they have 2 used Yellow GT’s for sale both had just over 10k on the clock & one was $53K drive away. I asked the salesman if they were buy back repaints but was non-comittal & tried to dodge the question, funnily enough @FitR6 was there too & was with me when questioned.
We also checked out the new Cerato GT in Sunset Orange, very impressive, like a mini Stinger inside & not to bad for $31,900 drive away

Was an codger going slow in the inside lane..

Think I saw this bloke’s older brother this arvo. Leaving work, entered traffic via a slip,lane, saw a white Stinger about 50 yards behind me, slowed down so he could catch up and I could check him out and I couldn’t go slow enough! Traffic wasn’t heavy and this bloke was just fartarsing along. I’ve never seen a Stinger go that slow.

I can't imagine anyone here would be silly enough to put on the larger Stinger script badge and leave the small one on right beneath it.

This is the second time this has come up in a couple of months. Is it the same Stinger? Could there be TWO "Stinger-STINGER"s out there?
