Lord yes please keep us updated! I'm going to have to embark on this endeavor shortly, as I've got to replace an upper grill on my GT1 (it met a deer this morning, and I'm excited that is all I'm going to have to deal with!)

I did same but mine got a bit worse. I used small pop rivets to reassemble. Looked fine, then this douche bag in a semi ran me into a mountian side ditch this am. I've gotta fix the entire lower bumper now as all the pieces are falling out of the lower valace.
