Not much help now but i have slotted and dimpled set with semi metallic pads in my garage im gonna try to install over the holiday weekend. i can report back with what i find.
My car is otherwise stock for now, performance is hard to prove without an actual dyno, but i can tell you my MPG has increased by 2-3 miles. im averaging closer to 25mpg now, where as before it was closer to 22. Turbo noises are pretty quiet.
brakes and tires r the number 1 safety items. DONT CHEAP OUT!!! I would stay away from any cross drilled rotors, and any surface finish(black zinc) will rub/burn off in the first couple miles of usage. I would stick with known high quality brands imo
My verdict after 100+ miles, not bad at all. i went with dimpled/slotted rotors with semi metallic pads for better stopping power. Install took roughly 2hrs for all 4 rotors and pads. the break in procedure was super dusty but after that they're about as dusty as the stock ceramics. so glad to get rid of that high speed brake wobble. As i continue to drive ill keep posting if anything changes on my review.
I agree,
I just changed my stock once to the dimple and slotted with power stop carbon/ceramic last week and I’m at 120 miles and everything’s positive so far.
Let’s see
