Hard to keep clean?

I snowfoam followed by 2 bucket method my friend.
Looks to me like your water source is high in calcium (hard water) or you just didnt rinse the soap off well enough. Usually you need to hand dry if you want a spot free surface unless you have a spot free water filter setup on your water source (not cheap to add and maintain).

Yeah probably hard water. Either way the Stinger requires urgent paint correction. I have Carpro Essence which is very good, just need orbital polisher.

Where are you located?

Spend the coin on a deionizer, there’s not a single water mark on my car.

It's not as bad if the water is removed before it dries out.

This is true, but I don’t risk it at all. And I dont need to dry it quickly when it’s hot. I use a car dryer and that takes longer to get around the car.

View attachment 33064 This is just from hosing.
Is this due to hard water or is it something else?
Hose water is almost always going to dry dirty/hard. For most of the world, I reckon. There are special places, blessed places, that have naturally soft ground water.

Even after claying and applying sealent I feel is not doing it suffice. I am looking into Ceramic Coating, specifically Cquartz by Carpro. Only problem is my Stinger came installed with a whole bunch of dealer swirls which I strongly think are from the auto wash. Thus coating isn't possible without correction.

Am I the only one that feels like it's an absolute magnet for pollen? Jeez, my blue car is practically green from all the yellow pollen.

ceramic coatings aren’t immune to watermarks. Apart from the gloss, imo they are only really useful for ease of cleaning your car.

I was at a dealership today getting my daily driver serviced. Whilst I was waiting I looked around the new cars in the yard. I noticed the car ‘cleaner’ going about his business. He was using an old hose with hardly any water pressure and an old rag to clean the new cars. These cars were covered in dust. He had no bucket of car wash whatsoever. Dealer installed swirls, here we come. I don’t want to judge a book by its cover either but the guy looked like he was out on parole.

It’s amazing they don’t charge extra for the swirls since they hired such a pro to clean the cars.

Creamic coatings are actually inmune to water marks, provided you maintain them properly. They help with more than ease of cleaning, they provide a very tough UV protection layer and are less prone to swirl marks than the soft clear coat layer on most paints.

Creamic coatings are actually inmune

Many detailing professionals will disagree with that.
All cars are immune if you look after them properly, ceramic or not, but leave tap water on a coating and it will mark.
