GTA Mechanic Recommendations?

Hi guys!

Looking for mechanics around GTA that have worked on Stinger. I think it would be useful to keep a list of recommended mechanics here.

I know few people work on their own car, I don't have the luxury or the skills for the complicated things. For my car specific, I was thinking of installing lowering springs (need help here) and rear sway bar.

Where are you located exactly?
I'd recommend Pat at ART motorsports. He did my front and rear sways as well as another GTA member.
He's done springs on one of my other cars as well.

Ok. He's located in Markham (Bayview and Steeles) and I would highly recommend him
In your area there is Burning Rubber tire and speed who do good suspension work too, I've dealt with Ryan there.

I'm in that neck of the woods too (Upper Middle/8th Line area)... Crazy that I haven't seen you driving yours, I've been constantly on the lookout for Stingers.

My blue stinger is driving around mostly in the evening. The car is in Toronto during the day time.

Did you get any work done on your car?

Hi Smeeps, I’m a fellow Haltonian, and when I needed lowering, I just took it to Lockwood Kia. Good group there, and they have a Stinger Specialist in the shop who does the complicated work on the Stingers, and he’s had practice installing my Eibachs, lol, and did a perfect job on the alignment afterward. I also took it there in case they had to do any computer resetting since there’s an electronic component to our suspension.

Any good tech can figure out routine replacement work on these cars. If you prefer an independent mechanic, there’s a good group in Milton I recommend called True Tech Auto I go to when there’s something I can’t do. Ask for Paul if you want to check them out.

I do take my car to Lockwood, I was unhappy the last time I went there, and that could be one off but I will definitely find out the cost at lockwood and True Tech Auto. I am bringing my own parts.
