GT2 Subwoofer Upgrade. 8" ported sub install with pictures and basic guide.

There should be a total of 4 speakers wires tapping to sub wires from what I remember.
2 POSITIVE AND 2 NEGATIVE
U are correct. 1 and 16 then 2 and 17. Stripped wire is the POSITIVE. . THIS IS FOR RED CONNECTOR. ON THE BLUE CONNECTOR CONNECT THE REMOTE BLUE WIRE FROM THE JBL HUB HARNESS TO THE ACC blue wire/ brown strip. LOCATION #8

Also once u have it all hooked up make sure u close all the doors and trunk and then wait to see of the GREEN POWER LIGHT go out on the JBL HUB. Hope this helps. Out
Thanks. I will double check them. I had problems where to connect the blue wire. This helps alot.

Are you saying that it won't work until you shut all doors and hatch and wait till the green light goes ou

No it will work while open. But shut it all to test it turns off. Mine turns back on when I open any doors even if the car is off

That would be okay as long as it turns off when turn the motor off and shut the door. Do you use the exhaust sound simulator? Wonder if the sub makes it deeper Lol

Can I ask where you find the wire diagram? Is it comprehensive enough for a remote start install?

Honestly if you're wanting remote start I personally didn't mess with any wiring on that side of things because if you get it wrong it can become a very expensive problem to fix. I chose to run the MyKey Premium aftermarket remote start module which gives you full remote start, turbo timer and proximity lock/unlock. It is a full plug and play setup that takes around 5 minutes to install and requires no wiring modifications so if you decide you don't want it anymore, need to swap it into another vehicle after a write-off or need to remove it for any warranty issues it leaves no evidence behind that it was ever there. Best part is it utilises the factory key fobs so you don't have any additional remotes on your keys and is a super clean and discrete install. I've had no issues with mine and been running it for almost 2 years, very handy for cold morning starts warming everything up and also letting temps drop back down after more spirited driving.
