Driving to work the other day a dump truck kicked up a rock about the size of a baseball that conveniently put a hole in the grill. Anyone know if I have to replace the whole assembly or can I replace just the damaged part?

Some pictures might help. If the rock smashed the smart cruise module then that's 1k. If it's just the grill that's around $200. Easy to replace the top grille, just take off the bumper.

Kicked it up, or dropped it? Isn't it so great that these guys are allowed to drive down the roads sandblasting everyone's cars? I woulda tried to see who the truck belonged to and sent them the bill for not securing their load. It's a big problem here.

Do you have 360 cam? If so that's a different grill. Go to kiapartsnow.com and look around.

A little more to the left and you have a 1k paperweight of the radar cruise unit.Can I just say that despite the bad luck of the baseball-rock, you are incredibly fortunate that it hit just the grill?

I would not place that order just yet. That does not have the radar smart cruise control. I think

Massive price difference between that and
86350J5800.
However I suggest you call your local dealer to confirm the part number and then if it's the one I posted then I know a guy in Korea that can get you one for $221 plus shipping.

Fine I will whisper them. Phsss the dealer quoated me $600 for the grille however THAT IS INSANE AND I REFUSE TO PAY $600 FOR A PEICE OF PLASTIC!

Same lol. Btw I checked and you want the one that ends in 800. Don't think the other (cheaper) one will work. At 600 it better be carbon fiber or something... Or at least come with a coupon for a free massage... Like come on it's like $300 from Korea including shipping.

The one including the radar cruise 'face plate' is the reason for the big price discrepancy. It's not just a cosmetic plastic cover, but a special material that is transparent to the radar transceiver (which is NOT part of the grill assembly, but bolted to the structure behind it).
I don't think the radar cruise grill can be purchased without the face plate, though the face plate can be purchased by itself (expensive).
